Toppers Pizza — Restaurant in Saint Paul

PIZZA WAS 3 HOURS LATE, COLD, AND UNCOOKED.

6:30pm: Called toppers and ordered a large pizza, cheese curds, and wings. Told them I had a coupon for a free pizza. They charged me $29.95 which I said sounded high (but not as high as the guy on the phone). After getting off the phone I checked the price and they had over charged. I called back and they said I would have to call back when their computers were working. I asked how long it would be and I was handed to someone else. They asked for my name to bring up the order and then said oh ok you have two orders of cheese curds, what's the issue? I told him I was overcharged. He said he couldn't do anything about it except cancel the order and start over. So we started over. I ordered the same thing but this time he said they didnt have wings. I said ok. . . Just the pizza and cheese curds. I was charged $12 and he said it would be 30 minutes.

8pm. I called back because the pizza never showed up. The guy said it was out for delivery. I asked when it left and he had to go check. When he came back he told me it just came out of the oven but they were still waiting for the cheese curds and that it should be there within 30 min. I am located 5 min from the Toppers location.

8:30pm I called back because there was still no pizza. They said it was on its way. . .

9:00pm. This time my wife called. . .  They said it would be there any minute.

9:30pm Wife called again and was livid. Demanded it be delivered. They said they were making a brand new order for us and it would be there asap.

9:35, Pizza showed up. They send two cold pizzas and cold cheese curds. Everything felt like it was 3 hours old. Oh and all of the pizza dough was uncooked.

If anyone wants my free pizza coupon let me know. But I dont recommend...

Possibly the worst experience and I wish I could give NO stars.

I ordered online a vegan bbq Korean pizza and vegan topperstix. I called to have them add a NON dairy ranch as there wasn't an option online for some reason. I was assured it would be included in delivery. Food arrives with dairy ranch, no chicken-less bbq chicken on entire pizza, no bbq sauce..instead was tomato sauce..and regular cheese was used instead of vegan.

I called to inform them of the multiple errors with my order and a manager that said he just stepped into work..he then asked the staff there and NO ONE wanted to own up to who made the pizza which was very frustrating.

I drove the pizzas back to the store after getting off the call and the staff as a whole just seemed irritated that I came up there with my order. I got a full refund and was told it's going to take up to two business days to get my $50plus dollars back including delivery fee and tip which again was frustrating. The manager offered to make me another pizza replacement but the overall energy of this location served as a big decline.

This was a meal that I wanted to have a lowkey Valentine's day dinner with and tried to plan accordingly as to not have a long wait in timing. Needless to say dinner plans were ruined but I'm glad I caught their multiple errors with my order as we have specific dietary restrictions.

I would DEFINITELY tread lightly in ordering anything from this location or business as a whole.

If you want delivery, go elsewhere. We ordered $66 in food, and waited outside the front door for delivery. Long after the estimated delivery time, I called up to discover their driver claimed to have tried to deliver the order but almost got robbed, tried calling multiple times, and got noone. I was standing outside the entire time. None of this occured.

Edit: On top of all this, though I was located at 200 Grand Av at the time, a straight drive down a single road, when I explained the situation to the manager: Despite my asking for nothing in recompense and expecting no recourse or reimbursement past receiving the funds for our order, she proceeded to justify "so maybe he went to the wrong place, or... etc" the overall theme was what I said meant little. They have now adjusted their delivery range to exclude this location. A location roughly a mile away.

The gist is this: their driver didn't want to do his job. He made some stuff up. Despite what the customer had to say, they altered their entire delivery circumference over the report of a whiny delivery driver not capable of doing his job.

Also, we ordered McDonalds, Taco Bell, and White Castle from door dash, and they were all cheerful as can be when they showed.

This one guy met one invisible mugger at a place he never went to, and the business in question changed their entire map because of it.

Don't ever ask this delivery person to tend to anything that is at...
