I have been a loyal customer at this salon for over a year, but my recent experiences have left me deeply disappointed and concerned. Initially, I enjoyed my visits, but over time, I began noticing a decline in care and quality. My fingers were frequently nicked during nail trimming, and I experienced burns from their products. The last two times I had my nails done, the polish quickly lost its luster, became scratched, and completely peeled off my toenails.
Despite these issues, I brought four family members in for pedicures today, hoping that a basic service would be safe. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. One member of our group left without having their nails painted, even though we specifically requested clear polish. Additionally, both of my daughters remarked that the technicians were excessively rough during the cleaning process.
While I had initially resolved to simply not return, what happened to me during this visit was unacceptable and has significantly impacted my daily life. During the calf and shin massage, the technician used a pumice stone on my shins. It initially felt like a sugar scrub, so I assumed it was part of the process. However, when my shins were rinsed and the final lotion was applied, I felt an intense burning sensation. I informed the technician, and we noticed that my shins were red and irritated.
She applied Vaseline before I left, which provided brief relief, but as the burning sensation returned later, I discovered severe abrasions on my shins. The attached photos show the extent of the damage—raw, red skin, and deep wounds on my left shin that appear as though they were scrubbed with a harsh, abrasive surface.
This experience has not only been painful but (due to my profession) has also hindered my ability to work until my shins heal. I am appalled at the lack of attention to proper technique and care, and I hope this feedback prompts a serious review of their practices to prevent...

I recently had a rather perplexing and disappointing experience at LA Nails that I feel compelled to share. After much deliberation, I decided to treat myself to a full set of nails with a French manicure. Unfortunately, due to some damage from previous press-ons, I was unable to get the French design I desired. Despite this, I stopped in to have my nails done since my nail kit was in storage, and I was quoted a price of $85 for the design I wanted. I was informed that it wouldn’t look right, which I accepted after discussing my options.
What shocked me most was the lack of preparation before gluing the nails on; they didn’t advise me to clean my nails first. As a result, they struggled to make the nails stay on properly. The prep work was done poorly, and when I asked for a short set, they didn't offer to cut them down, which was disappointing.
I chose a basic sparkling color and inquired about the cost, only to hear the price of $85 again. For a basic set with gel polish, I firmly believe that my nails should have only cost between $50 and $60.
This experience has reinforced my decision to stick to doing my own nails. The pricing at this salon is neither clear nor fair, and I won’t be returning. I will also be recommending that others consider doing their own nails to save money, as it seems nail shops often overcharge for simple services.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my visit...
Read moreThe lady that did my nails was very nice. However, the experience was not great.
I booked online and when I came in, they seemed confused that I had an appointment. There were several guests and only two staff. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time. When I finally got to my turn, the lady was super fast, but my nails were a mess and I had to clean them up at home.
On top of that, there was a patron that walked in clearly intoxicated which I recognized the staff cannot control, but the patron was being belligerent, asking for service they didn’t have and was being quite obnoxious. I was unsure why the staff were not doing anything. I almost offered to call non-emergency but was almost done with my appointment and just wanted to leave.
Lastly, they charged me quite a bit for a pretty generic service with no discount for having waited as long as I did past my appointment time. Being in customer service myself, I would have at least offered some sort of discount for waiting so long…
Needless to say, I recognized some things are out of the staff’s control, but was surprised at everything that occurred during my...
