This past July I upgraded my phone to an Iphone 6. The very next month I dropped the phone, shattering the screen, the phone was still usable but looked terrible. My brand new phone now looked like an old broken one. It seemed the best place to go to get the screen fixed would be the Apple Store itself and it took me these past few months to finally get out to the Apple Store at West County Mall. I got to the store when they first opened and the place was already pretty busy. They asked if I had an appointment, I did not and did not realize I needed one. The did however get me checked in and I did not have to wait too long to see someone which was nice of them. After looking over my phone, the representative informed me that they could not fix my phone. I of course was pretty disappointed, he stated because of their testing it would not pass due to where the shatter occurred on the frame. Basically I had a small dent in the frame.
I was skeptical of going to an after market place like CPR, figured Apple would be the best place to go to fix my Apple product. So, I stopped by the CPR location at Mid Rivers Mall. The person working there took a look at my phone, stated he of course could fix it. He went and checked for the parts and came back stating he could have it fixed in an hour. I was a little nervous heading back to the store an hour later thinking I would get bad news and be stuck with the broken phone for another year and half or buck up and pay a lot of money for a new phone. I have to say this place blew my expectations out of the water. When I looked at the repaired phone I saw my new phone again. It looked great, it looked brand new again. I could not have been more pleased at the results I was looking at. So if you could not tell already I would highly recommend giving this place a shot at fixing your phone should you ever need...
Read moreToo many other options that can take care of your needs. Took my parents in to get phone cases and screen protectors for their phones. This place didnt have either for their Samsung S23FE phones. I have done business here before to have my screen protector replaced due to cracking issues. I had more cracking present so I decided while I was there to go ahead and replace my screen protector again. When I was in there the last time, the female manager had explained to me that I had to pay $10 for the warranty and that would give me lifetime replacement of the screen protector at no charge. This time, they charged me $12 and when I asked why I was being charged for the replacement, I was told they were under new management and that was the store’s new policy. When I told Alex what I had been told before and who had told that to me, he says she is in the back. She comes out and its the exact same gal who had told me this when I was in the last time. They couldnt find me in the system but when I showed him emails I receive from them, miraculously they found me. She then takes an aggressive tone and basically calls me a liar and that she never said those things. Read other reviews from people claiming they were lied to. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire people! But they already lied about the fact it would be $10 for a lifetime warranty and now it’s miraculously $12 because of new management policy. So bottom line is lifetime warranty and guarantee only means for that particular day until someone changes their mind and wants to charge you more! They will not honor anything they tell you. Nothing but lip service! Go to the guy in Mid Rivers Mall just past the eacalator! He is so friendly and will give you discounts if you do a google review for him! Go figure… someone who values...
Read moreBrought my LG G3 in on 1/29/16 for a diagnosis on the screen coming on then fading to black. The tech recommended a new screen to solve the problem. I agreed on the pricing for parts and labor almost totaling $150. When I picked up my repaired phone, it worked great.....for about 2 hours. The same issue started happening again. Came in again on the morning of 1/30/16 and the tech checked out my phone and added more "foam" to help the issue.....Again, this fix only lasted a couple hours.....Came back in the evening of 1/30/16, spoke to the original tech from the day before and he did not want to give it another attempt. Suggesting that the replacement screen may be defective and it would take up to 5 business days for a new one to arrive. Needing my phone and apps for work, waiting that long wasn't an option. He did call the Wentzville location and they did have another screen. Made a trip to Wentzville CPR on 2/1/16, they got right on it, replacing the screen with a new one...That fix held up until 1/5/16 and the issues started back up again. Made a trip back to Wentzville that day and tried what they could to make the screen make better contact with the board but was not successful and referred me back to Mid Rivers Mall for any further work that needed done....Went back to Mid Rivers Mall CPR on 2/7/16, the tech basically said there's nothing we can do about it..... 6 in store visits in just 9 days. -$150 and still a...
