Extra Space Storage — Local services in Saint Petersburg

I have had a great deal of my belongings stored at my daughter and son in laws new home. Well, they are trying to remodel so it's time for me to get my stuff out. I live in S. Pasadena and was looking for a climate controlled storage facility close by. I found it! Life Storage on Tyrone Blvd, directly across from the mall, is a fabulous facility, with awesome employees and they are truly dedicated to making sure that you have a great experience and get what you paid for. I rented a 10x10 climate controlled, indoor unit and because they are so new, the unit has never been used. It has super high ceilings, so I can stack things up high if need be, they have easy access, good access hours and plenty of flat bed hand trucks to help with the moving. The units are easily accessible from the elevators and the wide double doors make it a snap to get in and out.

Laidy was the employee who helped me with my paperwork and showed me around. She could not have been more helpful. I really got the feeling that they care about their clients and will be there if any problems should come up.

They also provide use of a free moving truck, which is a really awesome benefit. I didn't think I needed it, but my move date changed and I will now use their truck and save myself over $100. I just have to pay for extra mileage, gas and a small insurance fee. That's a huge savings, as every penny counts when you're trying to move your belongings.

Wow!!!! Extra Space Storage and George have made what I thought was going to be a hot, sweaty, stressful weekend of moving things into storage down right PLEASANT! George called me back almost immediately after I completed the online inquiry and explained all the details of renting a space. No tricks or smoke and mirrors about pricing, everything was very clear and straight forward. I was able to set everything up online and my space was ready for me when I arrived. The app gives immediate keyless entry into the facility, there were plenty of carts that hold multiple boxes and bins shortening the number of trips from the car to my unit. The hallways, elevators and storage space are all clean and bright! This will make it so much more appealing to go back and spend some time sorting through boxes and bins when I need to. We have been customers of Extra Space Storage since December 2024. When we walked in the door we were welcomed by the manager George. George has excellent customer service skills. He is extremely knowledgeable of the products and services offered by Extra Space Storage.
