K9 Kabin — Local services in Saint Robert

*DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY *One star isn’t a low enough rating for this company. This is a puppy mill company that does not care about these precious dogs/ pups at all. This is a profit for them nothing more. I purchased Layla from them on Friday where she appeared to be fine. Saturday she started to lose her appetite & energy, had soft stools, and started to scratch at her ears & whine. I looked in her ears and noticed they were full of wax I called K9 Kabin & they told me to bring her in that they had just treated her for mites. Thought that was strange considering her examine they gave me stated her ears were fine but more importantly I didn’t reveal my name or which dog I had so how would they know that by a 2 second call. Once my spouse got there she asked them to check her temperature. They informed her that they didn’t have a thermometer. How can you be in possession of so many puppies and give them shots (I witnessed them give Layla a booster before leaving) but you don’t have a thermometer!!! How do you know if any of the pups are sick? I took Layla to the vet ER & discovered she had Parvo. She passed away 4 days later. She fought as hard as she could but she’s resting in heaven now. I didn’t take her to their vet because the contract states if your dog dies from Parvo they’ll give you another one & honestly I didn’t trust them to do the right thing with her. I figured they would just let her die & give me another one considering it’s $3,000 min to have your dog hospitalized for Parvo. These people are in the business of making money not losing it. While Layla was sick I started to research the company and realized they were a puppy mill company however I recently discovered they delete negative reviews which keeps their rating so high. I have been going to K9 Kabin every week at least once a week. I make sure that I am there to get my puppy fix, but also to observe how the puppies are treated and how business is conducted. Here is what I have seen:

Owner has a unique and respectful way of dealing with everyone that walks through his door. Whether you are going to adopt a dog or not, he still treats you with the upmost respect.

Puppies are all taken care of. All puppies have been cared for and loved as you would expect...water, food, grooming, micro-chip identification, and of course lots of attention and love.

Business is handled very well. Layaway is always a good option to offer to your customers. Business also includes a little ‘goodie bag’ of pet care products specific to the breed of dog you adopt. The owner does not just send you on your way with your new puppy, he makes sure that you have the necessary information on how to care for your specific chosen breed, but he takes it one step further with making sure that you have the proper products and even medications/ointments for your new furry family member.

My overall experience with K9 Kabin has been fantastic. You can check out my profile and consider the source...I believe this is only one of my very few reviews, which should tell you that I do not do reviews unless they are warranted and I always tell my exact point of view. Trust me, or don’t, I don’t care. I will continue to go to K9 Kabin to get my “puppy fix” every week.

In 2017 we PCS here. We went here and got a wonderful dog and we named him Thor i found to be a perfect name for a german Shephard. Thor was a huge part of not only our life's but a family member we love so very much. Thor had lots of issues one being a carrier for Degenerative myelopathy, hip dysplasia that was so bad by the time we had to say night night to our baby boy he could no longer walk, he had allergies from seasonal changes, and Arthritis. We did everything and more for Thor. We did PT and even had a Chiropractor for him. We made his dog food with the care under a vet. I miss my big boy every day ever second. I just here and cry. I don't hear his bark no more I don't see his tail wag while laying on the bed because he couldn't walk and when he did get up he would fall. I want my dog back I need my best friend. I wrote these people told them what was going on and showed them the messages from 2017. I told them the dog was bought under my husband last name. All they wanted was to know the parents to my dog asap to let the other owners know. I didn't do it because I am so upset and hurt I stop talking to this guy.
