2025/July/6th,
Iāve been a loyal customer of this Korean grocery store for over a decade and have always appreciated the warm, respectful service provided by the owners ā a kind Korean couple who make shopping here feel personal and welcoming.
However, today was a disappointing experience. The owners werenāt there, and instead, I was assisted by a female employee who appeared to be Filipina. From the beginning, she was impatient and dismissive. Several items I wanted to buy had no price tags. When I politely asked if she could label them, she told me she could check the price but wouldnāt label them because āsheās not the owner.ā That response felt unprofessional and unnecessarily curt.
When I checked out with over $100 in purchases, I expected the usual courtesy Iāve always received ā a small free item or thank-you gift. Instead, she tossed a few items into my bag without asking, and when I asked kindly if I could choose a different item, she bluntly refused.
This kind of treatment is not what Iāve come to expect from this store. It doesnāt reflect the values or hospitality the owners have consistently shown over the years. I sincerely hope the owners are aware of how their staff interacts with long-time customers in...

I had a very disappointing experience with the cashier. While I wonāt assume her exact background. Yet I was shocked to witness her obvious double standards: she greeted and smiled at other customers, but when it was my turn, her tone turned cold and dismissive. One of my items didnāt have a price tag (many products on the shelf didnāt), and instead of helping me politely, she accused me of removing the label! That is completely inappropriate and offensive. When I pointed out that multiple products had no prices on the shelves, she brushed it off and said, āIām not the owner, Iām just a worker.ā Thatās not an excuse for being rude or making unfair assumptions...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA small grocery store with a bit of everything crammed into every nook and cranny. Produce, seafood, prepared items, non-perishables, frozen stuff, snacks. Though I've not yet confirmed this, I was led to believe it is the largest Oriental grocery store in the area. I visited in hopes of finding some Japanese noodle bowls with included fried tofu, but that was not something they carried. (They carried noodle bowls aplenty and sold tofu though). A Japanese tv show could be heard when near the back of the store. They had very reasonable prices on seaweed snacks and a helpful store manager who was friendly and professional. She claimed their pre-prepaired bolgagi was considered the best in town by many customers, but I decided to pass on it this go round. I plan on doing business...
