This place is a rip off don't go there. I took a self winding fossil watch to them the owner looked at it and told me it needed a battery. I asked him why does a self winding fossil need a battery. He said that it need a battery to work the date. And other parts of the the watch. The battery that he supposedly put in two weeks later was dead. It made me mad and I was not going to pay another twenty dollars to put yet another battery that was going die in a couple weeks too. I put the watch up and it sat. For about six months. One day I picked up the watch and strated messing with it and it was making a rubbing sound. So I thought it doesn't work anyway. And took the back off. The problem was the retaining screw had come loose and need to be tightened back up. So I did in the processe I kept thinking where's the battery? I don't know where he put the watch battery. The watch doesn't take a battery because it's self winding. So he did nothing to the watch and charged me twenty dollars. So he could lie to me. There are people who wrote that they are fast. Well when I was in the store he was taking care of a customer that was complaining about his watch taking over three weeks to fix. There is no customer service. There is only one person there. So the relaxing environment is that you stand and wait for him to get to you. The person who was complaining about his watch taking over three weeks to fix got the watch back and told the owner that he was going to take it to somebody that knew what they were talking about and knew what...
Read moreI wish I could give no stars. I took my fathers watch (he died last week) a two tone band citizen watch. He charged me 10$ and after I left, I realized that the band was no longer two toned but rather one solid color. I couldn't believe what was happening as I have never been robbed like that and have no idea what to do. It seems my only option is to try and sue him or tell folks that he's a thief. *The only threat was that my family and friends would not use his little business. My fathers watch may not be worth anything to him but the two tone band he stole is worth something (cheapest new is over 100$) to someone who wants a good band. The watch was a citizen platinum solar watch and the band was two tone when I brought it in. It's sad that I didn't notice the switch until I was gone. I did call the police and they can't do anything but suggest I sue and that's not good because I have no proof. I made my complaint to the BBB and I don't expect anything to come out of this. I still can't believe that it happened but once my wife saw how basic and somewhat sketchy the owner was, it sort of made sense. There's nothing I can do and I get it. Sadly all I can do is speak truth to anyone I see heading towards the thief's den. In the end, you reap...
Read moreStop searching! You just found your watch guy!! He is friendly, fair, reasonably priced (in fact he could easily charge more for the amount of care and thoroughness in his work), he is quick, and knows his business. This is the exact type of person I think of when I think of the word specialist. Up until a few years ago my dad had worn the same watch all my life. I never knew it was automatic, as in it doesn't take a battery .. Huh?? He even had one taken apart that he was kind enough to show me. He told me to put it on and wear it for a day or so, and if it didn't keep the time it would also have to be taken apart and cleaned. Ok then, I set the time and put it on. Sure enough it kept time again. Ive never been an expensive watch owner as some of you can tell. I am going to take it back to get cleaned anyway because it sticks on Tuesday. A couple more things you should know is that he only takes cash, and is located in a small plaza with other small businesses right on the corner of the intersection. You can...
