I was told during the initial sculpsure evaluation (which was a great experience) for best results you must have at least 2 sessions 6 weeks apart. Starkey cancelled my 2nd appointment while I was in route, mid-day, due to COVID (hard to believe the doors locked before close of business that same day, the medical practice I work for closed at the end of the day to allow patients on their way to be seen) I have not ever received a $50 refund for any of my cancellations less than 24 hours; a $50 charge Starkey strictly adheres to when a customer cancels in less than 24 hours. During the cancellation call I asked for a refund because I was under the impression good results depended on at least 2 sessions 6 weeks apart. A refund was denied and I was told “Michelle said she would make everything right when we reopen” When I called about the second session Michelle stated I had misunderstood, the sessions are as effective anytime. (I did not misunderstand) Because, I didn’t want to feel completely cheated I did go for my 2nd session and asked the technician about effectiveness and she reinforced for best results your sessions should be 6 weeks apart. The first session was useless, it has only been a week since the second session so I really don’t expect anything yet. When I am at Starkey the motto is “we want our customers to feel pampered, I would settle for not feeling cheated” At this time I do not know what to believe about the timing of the session but I do know the first one did nothing and I followed all directions to the letter and have not gained any weight. Read moreI would probably tell anyone to pass. I’ve been to this practice at the Salem location as well as the older Roanoke location. The first problem is you can never get anyone on the phone (and good luck getting your call returned if you leave a message). I went in for a Mother’s Day Botox special at a special rate. I saw Colleen who seemed wonderful. It was a good experience. I explained the number of units I typically require for the spot treated (forehead). We decided to treat that spot as well (eyes) as an additional one. I asked how many additional units that would be for both spots. She told me “I think we can get both areas done with the amount you usually get”. Ok.... She then said “if it didn’t get all of the spots, just come back in after two weeks and I can fix it”. I told her at the time I didn’t mind adding a few more in because of the special price, but she assured me she could get it all. Well it didn’t get it all. Not even close. So I called back and am now being charged full price to finish treating the areas that didn’t work the first time. Ridiculous. I could see if I was coming in for treatment of a brand new area, but I’m coming in for treatment of an area that wasn’t fixed. I will NEVER again go back and would tell anyone else to...
Read moreI’ve gotten filler and tox a few times now from Michele and have always loved the results. She is so kind and encouraging throughout the process, even when you are nervous about the needle. On one occasion, I needed a slight touch up a week after the Dysport treatment so I called and she immediately got me in the same day with no extra charge. She takes the time to explain how the facial muscles work (and in this case, why I may have needed the small touch up) and made notes to refer to next time.
At my last appointment, I had a conflict with childcare and ending up having to bring my baby along with me in the stroller. As babies do, half way through my appointment baby started crying.. but the staff immediately popped in my room to ask me if they could help! They immediately started entertaining him so that my appointment could be completed without added anxiety! I was so thankful.
The staff was also helpful in providing suggestions for skin care products that they sell while paying attention to my budget.
