Omg. I chose this place for my 5 day art workshop in Salem, Va. I based my decision to stay here from the on line reviews and my past experiences in othet B&B. This is a very classy place, comfortable in everyway, our group had the whole upstairs, we didn't even lock our doors, the entire time there. I loved their espresso machine in the hallway on top of the room coffee maker. Clean! They provided the rpbes, indoor slippers and all of us especially enjoyed the fine quality furnishings, bathroom fixtures, ect. The place was definately a home away from home! And the owner, Cindy Lou! My, you read the reviews of her being the nicesest inn keeper. But, she was gracious, warm, kind, a giver, a good friend from the minute we said hello untill our goodbyes, several days later! You get far more here for your money than you would at any of the hotels nearby. No comparison! Do it, enjoy your stay. If you are a piano player, you can even entertain yourself with the baby grand, downstairs. Have...
Read moreI stayed at the Inn for over 5 months. Everyday was excellent. I never had a single problem the entire stay. I could not have had a better experience. I feel very fortunate to have found this historic Inn, just pure luck. I had never even been to Salem before. It was apparent in the first few days that I was going to stay put, no need to look for any other place too stay.|| Location is the best, it’s close to everything you need. Cindi Lou and her family became my friends and I was sad to leave, when my business was over. I felt like it was my home the entire time I was there. Clean, quiet, comfortable, real hospitality (not fake) and run by some of the finest people you will meet anywhere on the planet. I was in Salem on business, but everyday at the Inn I felt like I was...
Read moreWhat an amazing place! The people are even better! I loved my stay here. This is like a home away from home. Cindy Lou is an amazing person. She went above and beyond every chance she could. I was so happy I picked this place. It is so warm and inviting here. It seems like there is nothing that was not thought about here. I was left wanting for nothing. Cindy Lou left breakfast baskets that had delicious muffins in the morning, as well as some snacks too. They even had snacks in the room, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and water. All the rooms are beautiful. The suites are amazing. Well worth the money you pay for them. The bed was amazing. This place really left no stone un-turned on service. I will...
