Escape reality and play video games at this cool shop Stone Age Gamer - Salem Store in downtown Salem OH. This place is a blast from the past with some old gaming cartridges and systems from Sega, Playstation, XBox, Nintendo and tons more gaming discs. They also have some old classic gaming systems. The best part is the have a wall of pinball machines that run on a quarter to play. The also have Mario old school game for .25 play. They also have Xbox, Sega Saturn, Neo Geo, Nintendo 64 and Minestorm are all free to play. You definitely need to check this place out! Afterwards stop next door at Soda Works and across the street at N2 for ice 🍦watch them make nitrogen ice cream it's the coolest and they have ice cream flights, or Heggy's or Ray's for old fashioned 🍦. Check out all the great shops in our downtown area. If you like comics make sure to stop at Gotham Comics and Nerdy Necessities, the Record Shop right next State Street Tattoo upstairs . Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops, Liebe Winery in Downtown Salem. You can park on the street or side streets free parking or there is a free parking lot on the corner of state Street and N Ellsworth Ave next to the Chamber of Commerce building. There is also free parking lot in Sugarcreek Alley next to Scratch and Dent Food Store.

Second time purchasing an Everdrive from Stone Age Gamer and I can't recommend them enough. Fast shipping and quick responses to questions on Facebook. Will definitely be ordering again from them in the future!

update I wanted to update my review. I absolutely love this company. They are quick to respond to Facebook messages addressing anything I have. In this case I was going to place an order for a flash cart but was unsure which color my friend would like for his birthday. I had originally contacted them a year ago and the price they quoted me then vs now had dropped. Granted I wanted quite a few different colors. They were quick to accommodate providing a cart link to where I could then add the flash cart on top of the shells. Everything is painless I cannot recommend this company enough. If you're an old school nerd wanting some obscure cart I have now purchased 3 and has had nothing but great experiences each time. I almost want to drive to Ohio just to see their storefront in person. These are the people that deserve your money. So if they sell a product you are wanting this is a vendor that will go the extra mile to accommodate you. If you do and they did you right please leave them a...

As it stands right now, I’ve been on the digital side of purchases. Stone Age Gamer is my one stop shop for anything retro. Don’t know if they will be putting their actual game library online in the near future but as far as accessories and add ons go, this is a great place to be.

If their in store experience is anything like their online experience then expect professional and prompt service. The quality in products they choose is exceptional, and are perfect reproductions. I have been purchasing a fair amount of their retro-bit game cases for my Sega genesis games and I am absolutely happy with all these purchases.

I haven’t been to their brand new location (due to it being a 16 hour drive) but the pictures I have seen have this place in a very organized state and the overall layout makes sense. I can’t say much for some of the retro shops out by my location, but Stone Age Gamer has the right idea.

I definitely give this place a 10 out of 10 for Quality, Service, and Customer Experience. There is no other place to go when shopping for those retro titles and hopefully after this,...

I naively attempted to install the Nintendo Virtual Boy virtual ribbon to fix a failing lens. When I failed, I reached out to Stone Age Gamer for assistance, and they more than helpful. I sent my unit in and had it returned only a few days after it arrived at their shop. It works perfectly and couldn’t provide a higher recommendation for the quality of their service. Thanks and I’m sure I’ll be using your services in the future! I’d highly recommend this shop if you need any of your old consoles fixed.
