Troll's Jewelry — Local services in Salem

I personally will never give them my business again, nor would I recommend to anyone. I dropped off a very sentimental piece of jewelry to have a stone reset because it fell out (I still had the stone). That was on 2/07/25. At that time they told me the goldsmith was on vacation and it would be 2-4 weeks until it would be able to be repaired. On 3/07/25 they called to tell me my stone was chipped and that is why it fell out and asked if I wanted them to replace the stone. I said of course. I heard NOTHING from them. I was trying to be patient, but I called on 4/15/25 to check on the status. Was told it wasn't back from the goldsmith yet, but they'd check on it. I expected a follow up call within the next few days.... Nothing. Called again on 4/24/25. STILL wasn't back from the goldsmith... And now the goldsmith was on vacation again. FINALLY got a call from them on 5/01/25 that my necklace was repaired and ready for pick up. Picked up today, exactly 12 weeks from when I dropped it off, and they didn't give me a dime of a discount for the long wait. "They don't do that." Told me it wasn't like a vehicle garage where they can tell you exactly how long it will be. Some weeks they give the goldsmith 10 things to repair and some weeks it's less or more. I was extremely disappointed. Not only in the wait, but in the customer service and lack of follow up. I was proud to "shop local" and support my community. But I'll be finding another jewelry for any future needs. 🙁

Edit: also realized after I got home that they didn't return my original stone... I didn't even think to ask...
