Hillside Liquor — Local services in Salina

This is probably one of the better stores in town in terms of selection, prices, location, and the store setup itself. The few times ive been in have been efficient, quick trips but this last time there was a gentleman behind the counter that felt like they were staring me down the entire time even though i had a valid license and am of age. They didnt even verbally interact or handle my transaction, just felt like they were staring through my soul. I've gone out of my way to go to liquor stores farther out of the way since because i dont want to feel uncomfortable...

They sell one of my favorite wines here - sutter home 4 pack - merlot and cabernet sauvignon. And their price is outstanding at $6.99 each. Normally they run $8.99 and up other places.

They also carry my favorite beer - new belgium 1554. A little spendy price wise, but still acceptable.

The only disappointment is that they don't carry coppola wine in the bottles. Other than that, no complaints.

Was looking for a "new to us" Brewer called Alaskan Brewing Co. Tasted a smooth amber ale made by them and really liked it. Couldn't find the product anywhere until friends told us about Hillside Liquor. Lo and behold these guys had the Brewing company in stock with not only one but "four" varieties in their selection from the Alaskan Brewery!! Thanks Hillside for a vast amounts of designer Beers on hand...
