KAY Jewelers — Local services in Salinas

I went to this jewelry store, after being disappointed with the customer service at others, in the hopes of finding a matching set of rings for my Daughter and I. She is graduating this year, 2023. I came into Kay's with little hope for a good experience. Immediately I was welcomed by Hillary and Anna. They asked if they could help me and I let them know I'd like a few minutes to look around. After about 3-5 minutes, Hillary came to ask me if I had any questions or if I needed more time. I let her know I had some questions regarding a couple of different ring styles I had seen. Hillary was knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I ended up getting the same ring for my Daughter and the same ring for myself. Within 30 minutes I was walking out the door with 2 of the most Beautiful rings I had ever seen. As I was leaving, I heard Anna and Hillary say goodbye and to have a nice day. Honestly, this interaction made my day great. I will be coming back to this Kay's, in the hopes of having Hillary help me...

The store located at Northridge Mall has nice staff (outside of them spelling my name wrong) but if you choose the finance option, their 1-800 customer service leaves so much to be desired. They fail to own up to their insufficient, broken app and my personal advice, don't ever try to use their non user friendly website (which trying to find pertinent information on is a fools errand) and specifically the auto pay feature, which, is where the base of my issues started. The customer service staff won't help, they lie and they like to leave you on hold so much that even the most patient of monks would go bananas. My advice? Go elsewhere or pay using a non store card..DO NOT FINANCE...

I had a great experience here. Chris greeted us warmly and gave us the rundown on what we were looking at. I learned some things I didn’t know. Hillary helped me figure out what I was even looking for. I knew I wanted something but was pretty lost. She really made this seemingly impossible decision possible. The jewelry I got would have been a lot more expensive had I purchased through the online retailers I was looking at. Plus, the designs I liked, I did not like once I tried them on. I got some things I wouldn’t have thought I’d have liked, but I love them! I’m really glad my husband made me go in....
