Fine Print Bookshop — Local services in Saline

Still just as great, if not even better, than the first time we stopped by. It’s well organized, with so much tucked into each section. I love wandering in from the front to see the new releases, followed by tables of fairly new releases. A room holds a great selection of YA books, there’s a wall of puzzles and games, and then you’re into kids section and the rest of the selections. Today we started in the back entrance, where we caught memoirs and non-fiction selections, more fiction, and fun bookish merchandise. The owners are awesome people and it’s always a delight to chat for a moment while we complete our purchases.

One of my favorite places to shop in Saline! I’m an elementary teacher in Germany, so whenever I visit home I always stock up on children’s picture books. The staff member was very knowledgeable and picked out a stack of recommended books for me to sort through that featured diverse characters. She even recognized me from my last visit back in April! Nice small town book store. I stoped in to look around. I had a very good conversation with one of the owners. I am a veteran and love to make small talk. He listened and responded with good reply’s. It did not seem that he minded me rambling on. The book selection was good. They also have puzzles and board games. When I went in, they were doing some remodeling to the inside. So it was a little small. But once the remodel is done it’s going to be a nice size...
