I will no longer take any type of dress I need altered anywhere besides Brittanie. I have always heard people say finding a good seamstress is hard to come by and I now believe that more than ever after my experience with my first wedding gown. I previously had bought a wedding dress and took it to a different seamstress who completely ruined it making it look terrible to the point there was no way I was wearing it on my wedding day and charged me an insane amount of money in alterations that made my dress look worse each time I went back for fittings. As stressful as it was, I think it was a blessing in disguise because I ended up going back to a salon and finding an even better dress and they recommended me to Brittanie. Brittanie is very passionate about her work and is willing to take the extra time and do the extra work that some other seamstresses will shortcut to make your alterations flawless. She makes very good suggestions and was able to fix everything on my new dress and even my mothers dress that got screwed up at the other seamstress with ease In one visit and her pricing was very fair. I was absolutely in love with my dress and was so happy and confident on my wedding day. I will only be going back to Brittanie in the future and recommending people to her for their wedding dress...

Brittanie is hands down the absolute best, and I couldn’t be more thankful I found her! September 2019 I needed some last minute alterations to a dress I was wearing to a friends wedding and she was able to do everything I needed! I brought her my wedding dress in Spring 2020 for our November wedding so she could have plenty of time especially given my body type and my pickiness with how clothing fits. I was absolutely positive I would need a couple fittings especially given how much we did to my dress. Brittanie was insanely understanding and amazing about my insecurities with clothing and how it fits me, and assured me she knew exactly what to do. She completed a ton of alterations on my dress, including lining the sheer portion of it, within a month. She NAILED it. I had one fitting and everything was PERFECT! I mean literally, the bust, the support, the fit, the length. Everything. I couldn’t believe something actually fit me right on the first try, and looked as amazing as it did. Brittanie is a treasure and I was so lucky to have her as my seamstress. I drove 4 hours round trip for my appointments with her. She was the only person I trusted to touch my grandmothers 60 year old wedding dress. She made a beautiful overskirt to match my main dress and a lovely getting ready robe. Both pieces had pieces of my grandmothers dress in them. After my last fitting, everything fit like a glove! I wanted her to model my overskirt after a dress I tried on in a bridal shop. I have attached a photo from the bridal shop and a photo from my last fitting, and it is obvious she hit the nail on the head. Not only is she skilled, she is extremely sweet and a joy to be around. I am considering hauling any formal dresses I need fitted in the future to Saline just to continue being one of her customers! In the photos, if it seems my dress doesn’t fit me perfectly or not as well as it did in my last fitting, that is because I stressed so much for the last two weeks before my wedding that I lost 5lbs. Has nothing to do with Brittanie’s work and everything to do with being so stressed I forgot to eat half my meals....
