Cancun Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Saline

We order from this restaurant one to two times per week. We love their food. We always place our order online through their website and have never encountered an issue. Until tonight. We placed our regular online order totaling almost 60 dollars including tip. I arrive to pick it up and much to my surprise, I am told they are not accepting Online orders any longer. It was related to me that their online website is a third party vendor who has been keeping the money from the online orders. The restaurant told me that they will not honor the order (confirmed order via email and paid for), nor will they refund my money. It is my responsibility as the customer, to now contact my bank and share with them that the online website isn’t valid and to reverse the charge. Currently I am out 60 bucks and no food. This customer service experience was the absolute worst I have ever encountered. They have no sign posted, no social media posts regarding their online ordering and their website remains active. Furthermore, when you order online, you use your email address. Therefore, this restaurant has every customers email address. When they elected to not honor online orders due to not receiving payment from the third party company, they could have emailed their customers! I feel terrible for their predicament but there are so many ways to make this right without blaming the customer. Shame on you for not notifying...

My friend and I decided to try this place, despite the not-so-good reviews he heard. On the positive side: the salsa and chips were good, as well as the attentiveness of our waiter. I ordered from the dinner section and asked for my two burritos to have bean and cheese. I got soupy beans and NO cheese in the burritos. I honestly wanted to have the order sent back, but realized that it wouldn't improve the taste or texture of those soupy refried beans. The red sauce tasted a little weird (this would later on come back to haunt me). We wanted to split the check and it took ages for the guy at the hostess stand to do that. He basically scolded us and said we should have had the waiter do it. Oh, how inconvenient for you bud, plus he couldn't differieciate the difference in price of the two meals. An hour after eating there, my stomach didn't feel right. My friend's stomach wasn't settling right either, but he lucked out. I basically spent most of my early morning tossing and turning, sweating, and wondering if I should succumb to my feelings of throwing up. I eventually threw up and all those nasty soupy beans and awful red sauce went where they belonged. I felt better after tossing my cookies, and will most likely never eat...

I was just here and the environment is nice. It took a little while before I was greeted but it was fine I was just picking up my order. I ordered the chicken Cancun burrito with guacamole and salsa on the side. This food had no flavor. Everything taste watered down to make supplies last longer. The salsa had no seasoning or anything else with it, Just water mixed with tomato paste essentially. The Guacamole needed more seasoning. The guacamole was a little brown throughout. It did not taste fresh. Now for the Burrito, The burrito was just disappointing. The shredded chicken is very dry without and seasoning. It tastes as though it was made the day before or so. Also, the refried beans doesn’t have beans in it?!?!?! I called the restaurant back to order something different, but all I received was a sob story from the owner that if she was to replace place the meal she would lose more money at the end of the day, and she couldn’t honor that. She also mentioned how the cooks prep the food and the process of it, but the proof is not in the food. I will say the only reason this place has 4.4 stars is because of the environment it is in. I would never recommend this place for any Mexican...
