R U Game — Local services in Saline

I am a Vendor at R U Game, HOWEVER, while I do have a business relationship with Benjamin and his staff, I have to speak to the amazing way they not only treat their vendors but how welcoming and warm they are to their customers and community.

Benjamin has on several occasions offered sage advice to not only myself, and other vendors but seeks to be a solid and unbiased opinion on the Tabletop and TCG gaming community at large. His staff are knowledgeable and greet vendor and customer alike at the door, a touch which makes the shop and gaming areas not only approachable but an incredibly comfortable third space to all those seeking someplace to play and be seen playing.

R U Game is one of many a handful of shops in the Ann Arbor Saline area serving the tabletop crowd, however it's my belief they stand out for their focus on customers and community building as well as the way they stand behind local vendors and artisans such as myself.

I've frequently sat with either laptop or notepads, and worked out new ideas and brainstorming, edited videos or made social media posts all while having Ben and his community within literal arms reach and the staff's valued opinions available to my efforts. Had an excellent first time visit here earlier this afternoon, staff is incredibly friendly and they have a more unique selection of board games than I've seen in the saline/Ann arbor/ypsi area but also have a great selection of airbrush paints as well as other army painter products as well as some war gaming models

From the looks of things they have a hobby (painting/building/puzzle) table set inside front of the shop should you ever want to just enjoy the ambience.

I'm also pleased to say that they're open to supporting local artists, and have a small display of patches, pins, etc displaying work for sale.

These folks are genuinely knowledgeable about almost all the games in their inventory. They are always helpful and we’ve been back multiple times just for the customer service. They have walked us through board games as well as made some pretty spot-on recommendations. They are honest when it comes to gameplay and will let you know if it’s a learn in 10 minutes or learn in an hour game. We’ve spent a good chunk of our board game collection money here and will keep coming back as long as we’re in the area.
