Bargain Store Furniture Co — Local services in Salisbury

Extremely disappointed with this store. Spent several thousand dollars here. It started off great, we had to check in every couple of months due to the lack of product for our final piece of furniture. At our last check they told us to come get the dresser (off the floor) and as soon as the bed came, we could get it (all but one piece was in). We picked up the dresser (they told us it would be off display, it wasn't, my husband had to climb up above six feet and help get the dresser down and help load it himself) We were now waiting on one piece of the bed. Today, (a couple weeks later again) they called and accused us of stealing the dresser! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! How would we steal a dresser with your employee helping us load it?? The lady (blonde that works in the store) told us we were good to go and we hoped the bed would be here soon. We asked repeatedly for updates and even told them the furniture we ordered directly from Ashley had come in and suggested they also update their customers regularly like Ashley does, so the customer wouldn't have to constantly be the one checking in. Can't blame a pandemic on poor communication.

We have cancelled the remainder of our order due to this ridiculous behavior, poor communication and lack of professionalism by the owners and staff. We also found the same product we have been waiting on since AUGUST 2021 cheaper at another retailer.

My family has been waiting for a bedroom set from them (Ashley Furniture) since Sept 2021. We had to reach out every month for an update from this store. Very nice floor sales lady, but ze-ro communication from them. After 6 months of waiting and a dozen follow ups with them, we were told we could take the floor model. We showed up at the time we were told to show up. I had to help the store employee pull the furniture off of the display area, after waiting 30 minutes for the store mover to show up. We spent thousands dollars with the company across outdoor furniture, bedroom furniture and mattresses. (We could have paid for a used car with the amount we spent). We were told for 6 months that they couldn't get it from Ashley. We've purchased numerous items directly from Ashley and have gotten them while we waited on Bargain Furniture to not communicate with us. After making payment on the items we picked up, I can canceled the remaining items on order. Just found them in stock online, cheaper.

Moral of the story; if you want to wait for months on end without communication and limitless empty promises, shop here. Otherwise, take your business elsewhere. BTW, no refunds, no exchanges. That should have been our red flag for business...

I absolutely love this furniture store! Don’t let the words “Bargain Store” fool you. All their pieces are top quality at reduced prices. I have bought two wooden pieces recently and have gotten so many compliments from friends & family. They even sell top quality sheets for $25.00 (twin - king) in a wide variety of colors. You’ll be amazed at how soft & comfy they are. Everyone I have brought to this store purchases at least one set of these sheets & normally will go back for more. They are expensive sheets but because they buy them in bulk they are able to pass the savings on to their customers. They also have a wide variety of lamps and pictures at great prices. So, when you’re looking for nice quality pieces head to Bargain Furniture and see Amanda. She is awesome!!! She’s not one to attack you at the front door or follow you around waiting to pounce when you look interested in a piece. She is there to help you with questions or to finalize the purchase.
