Zions Motel — Hotel in Salt Lake City

I did not take being called "High Maintenance" by front desk lightly! He was insulting and racist after asking for new sheets because not only was there blood stains on the bedding, there were roaches (3 to be exact) crawling over the pillows and under the blanket. Just plain disgusting and rude! To make things worse, we were stranded after our car broke down and had to wait to be picked up. This meant needing to stay in this horrid place 1 more night, but because he felt that I was "High Maintenance", he refused a room to us and literally threatened to call the police if we didn't vacate the property ASAP! We are not from this area and thank god for that!! I hope this place is soon condemned since not only is their upkeep and personality a reflection of their business....but also how a person may change their mind about Salt Lake City all together. $79 to stay at this dump without even trying to get a lower rate. We were just mentally exhausted at that point with no other option to go to another location. Customer service goes a long way. Obviously they're in the wrong business if they can't handle walking 10 steps to bring a guest new sheets just to keep from their ratings going down. I would have NEVER treated a guest the way I was treated. I can say that, as I'm the manager of a motel that runs 24/7. I understand being exhausted and maybe over worked.....but...

So this is my Fairey motel. Although it is ghetto and most would not even think about ever staying here I for some reason always liked this motel. The manager is almost always irrational and rude , always threatening to call the cops on you for the most dumbest reasons, in which the police actually expressed there irritation of him calling so much. He also actually told me that if I was done smoking my 🚬 to please go back inside, because I was sitting down in front of my door enjoying the air. All in all the manager needs to do some serious soul searching and it would be perfect! Some rooms are nicer then others and they were remodeled about 2 years ago. The price is 75 bucks just like the tresses of the motels and is totally a rip off and taking Advantage of people and needing a place to stay. Our of all the ghetto motels sounds this is the best bet! It looks scary but nobody will mess with you or your family here. So...

Myself and my boyfriend were visiting from Ireland. We needed a last minute motel and came upon motel Zion in Salt Lake City.|I have never been more disgusted in my life. |The room was absolutely horrible! |We paid $65 for a room which was expensive for a 2 and a half star which it doesn’t even deserve one star! |The place is absolutely disgusting. So dirty! |There were cigarette buts under the bed, dirt, wrappers and tissue! Mould in the corner of the room the cold water tap was broken. The bathroom door was smashed in and had no lock so no privacy! |The front door out to the yard had an inch gap at the floor., which was letting in air from outside and god knows what other insects or spiders could get in. This motel was the worst place I...
