BUYER BEWARE: I was told we could place special orders of Purina items no problem. I placed an order for specific duck pellets that Purina makes 4 weeks ago. I was called and told they would be in the following Thursday. I went down there that Friday and they had ordered more of the flock raiser which they already had on hand instead. Then I was told a new order would be placed and would be there Monday but worse case scenario Thursday. I received another call the middle of last week telling me that they now weren't going to be in until Thursday the following week. (this week) It's a long trip for me into town to waste gas from the opposite direction of their location, so I've been trying to call during their business hours, since noone called me back to say they were in like I had requested and now no one is answering the phone there. Very disappointed.
I provided screen shots of my phone records and voicemail logs as well as the voicemail to text scripts. The last contact I had received and last voicemail I had was from May 17th, 2018. This was the response I received from one of his staff in response: Ma’am it’s a holiday weekend, I’m not going to argue with you about it. If you would like them let me know, If not I will be happy to send them back.
Update: Has anyone noticed how there is no longer ability to comment on the negative reviews or even leave new reviews in general on their Facebook page? Odd behavior for a business unless they are trying to limit what information you read. Charles Grogan sent me a Private message personally, which he won't allow me to post on here. Additionally he blocked me before I could even respond to the message, which just further shows that he isn't interested in customer service or dealing with the issue at hand. He is only interested in saving face and has zero integrity and conflict resolution skills.
Here's his message: Nicole, I am Charles Grogan with Grogan’s Farm & Ranch. I’m sorry you are so upset but I personally tried calling you on Monday. I’m sorry I didn’t go through the hassle of changing my business hours on Google business for one day. We had a sign on the doors for a week letting or customers know we would be closed at noon today. I am blocking you from our Facebook page due to your behavior. If you want your duck pellets come see ME on Wednesday and I’ll let you have them for free... your one star review is taken very personal and I hope the free feed will make up for all of your inconvenience. Have a nice holiday weekend..
My husband met Charles Grogan personally tonight. Instead of asking what could be done to resolve the issue, he continued to argue, be defensive and extremely rude. He thinks free feed excuses his behavior and lack of business ethics. He didn't actually apologize for any miscommunication or missed steps. He rudely apologized for not changing their business hours for one day instead. He just tried to bribe us into changing the review. He even asked my husband if I would be changing it now.
He's one of the rudest individuals either of us has ever encountered here. He turned off all of the commenting and review ability on their business page, because he can't address the issues at hand with tact and proper customer service skills. He also mentioned that we weren't even in their system when he couldn't come up with a good reason as to why no new voicemail had been left if they had attempted further contact. I have bought egg cartons, feed, hats, tools, oyster shell and various other products there on several occasions. No one has ever offered to include me on a mailing list or otherwise. I am not tax exempt and I pay outright and don't charge an account, so what purpose would there be to have myself included in their system? I gave them my info to place a special order that they kept dropping the ball on. Plain and simple. An incorrect item was ordered in the first place. Read moreNon helpful staff by choice and Rudely treated…After loading my own pallets (with a broken shoulder and no help from the staff in the back) a tall Mexican boy comes up to me in the store and rudely says “are you gona straighten those pallets, we had them ALL straight….) After I had to move and sort them myself w a broken shoulder while this same boy literally went past me and offered no help loading my pallets from his precious pallet pile and didn’t mind going to look after I was DONE and then coming in the store to find me and be purposely rude at very least. Sadly the rest of the staff was around and said nothing as well. I’ve spent 100s of dollars in this store every visit til now. I’d advise this boy that this behavior of coming to track down a customer after he didn’t even offer to help and then be rude etc would NOT be tolerated so well if he had done this...
Read moreI went into this store today specifically to buy black rifle coffee for Father’s Day for my husband who is an active duty member and veteran. My young daughter who is a year old wanted to play with the plastic dinosaur toys and hang out with the dog here. I tore her away from the dog and replaced the dinosaurs neatly back. The young woman working and the young guy on the laptop said nothing. We were not greeted at all when we walked in. The young woman seemed annoyed that she had to service us. I’ve never left a review in my life. I wanted to go back to buy the Duke soaps for my husband but I think I will pass. Very strange. I hope you get better help...
