Starbucks — Restaurant in San Angelo

This location took a long time to open, but it's finally here! Open floor plan. I like the layout of the store in Abilene on Buffalo Gap Rd better, but this store has seating outside as well. It isn't crowded like many stores yet, and I enjoy that aspect, as I don't care for overcrowded places. Coffee is really good like other locations, it also has a drive-thru/through, and the parking lot has plenty of space. Some other locations have poor planning for the drive-thru/through and parking. At this store you're not fighting to get into or out of a parking space, or get into or out of the drive-thru/through. It just opened, so the location is fresh, clean, & new. Guy ahead of us was ordering for several people, and he accidentally ran off with my companion's drink she bought, so an understanding employee made her another. Great experience. We visited another coffeehouse in the area, but it was so crowded & noisy you couldn't hear yourself think, line & wait were long, no unoccupied seating, so we were glad we left and came to...

I am someone who goes to Starbucks at least 4 times per week and I can confidently say this stairs has the worst service ever! I placed mobile order for one drink and one food order. I’d say it was an average day as far as business goes. I stood in the store waiting in my order for 20 minutes listening to Ben talk trash about customers and telling other employees they are busy and people just need to get over it. After 25 minutes I asked about my order. Ben told me I need to be patient and he will get to it. I asked about the wait time and he said Mobil iorfers go last and that’s how it works. I asked the name of the manager and Ben told me they don’t have one. After 30 minutes my food and drink were ready. The food was cold and the drink was made wrong. The food is good but expensive. The drinks don't seem to have the flavor of years ago. The staff is friendly and that's impressive considering how busy they always are. That's actually the main issue with this place, though. They are so busy that it reduces the comfort of the atmosphere, creates long wait times, and results in sandwiches getting made too early for mobile orders so they're not fresh when picked up and, worse yet, espresso shots being pulled well before the milk is poured in to the drink. This results in a bitter flavor and probably contributes to the loss of flavor I mentioned earlier in the review.
