Firehouse Subs Sherwood Way — Restaurant in San Angelo

We have eaten at the firehouse subs on Sherwood way in San Angelo many times and it's always been great food and quick friendly service.......but today we went thru the drive thru and ordered a sandwich and 3 Mac and cheese bowls. We received the bag and looked in to check the order and saw only 2 Mac and cheese and a sandwich, when I informed the lady at the window that we were missing 1 Mac and cheese she apologized and said she would get it right out....... A couple of minutes goes by then a guy opens the window and questions if we are sure there are only 2 in the bag, I hand him the bag with the Mac in it and he counts it and says yeah there's only 2 in there then asks if I'm sure it's not in the other bag so I handed him both bags bag and told him I'm not sure I can count past 2, you better double check all my bags, he then removes everything from the bags,. Counts everything then replaces it and hands the bags back repeating himself.. no there's only 2 in there.... He closes the window and another man opens the window and questions me again about the 3rd Mac and cheese, he says hmmm that's weird for a Mac and cheese to just disappear cause we made 3..... Maybe you should question your employees better instead of treating the customer like some kind of thieving crackhead that's trying to steal a $5.00 bowl of Mac and cheese. Will not be going back to...

*So I have gotten FH a lot recently and two of those times were delivered through GrubHub. I did not get the two GH mess up cuz it was delivered I'm not waiting ANOTHER hour for HOPEFULLY the correct sandwich. *This visit two days ago was ordered through FH's app and I DID get this was fixed THROUGH FH. Which I LOVE, because the app is the only other OUTSIDE place and/or third party I can get swiss cheese (besides ordering AT the restaurant itself). I ALWAYS order a turkey NO deli mustard or tomatoes. *Now back to recent three purchases, these two from GrubHub. One time I only got toasted bread, cheese and a fly flew out the box. NO ONE called me store or my driver to double check. The second time I ordered a turkey NO deli mustard or tomato I my turkey WITH deli mustard and tomatoes. The third time I ordered off the FH app I ordered an Engineer with NO deli mustard, sauteed mushrooms or tomatoes. I got an Italian. FH FIXED IT.

I LOVE FH THEY ARE MY FAVORITE IN ALL OF SAN ANGELO THIS STORE JUST KEEPS MESSING MY ORDER UP.

I've been going to Firehouse Subs off and on for a few years now. I really like the sandwiches, but not everyone in the household does, hence my sporadic visits.

During the latest visit, things were a bit chaotic. It was a Friday night, so things were hopping. The drive-though line was long ... to the point of blocking off the only entrance/exit. Fortunately, there wasn't much going on inside.

We went in, and our order was taken immediately. The staff were pleasant, polite, even friendly. The sandwiches were delicious.

Things started picking up inside as were were waiting for our order. A couple of pickups, a couple of eat-ins, and some more take-out orders like ours. It's fast food, so such an atmosphere is to be expected.
