This was my first and only visit to this salon. I walked in and stood there trying to figure out what to do (as many others did while I was sitting there). The sign in desk is down the room adjacent to the door (not obvious) and you sign in to a tablet, not with a person. I was seated with a tech 10 minutes before my appointment. They do have a good selection of colors.
Nick was unprofessional and talked about the previous client with me (about how she was bipolar and in need of meds). The station was not clean, and the table was stained with previous wear.
When I arrived, I was wearing a 3 week old manicure (they were almond shape that I had filed down myself because they'd gotten too long.) He proceeded to tell me that I should not wear coffin shaped nails short and that they looked bad. His opinion was not asked for or necessary considering we were changing the manicure any way. I asked him to shorten my nails and he told me they were already short enough so I had to tell him to cut them down anyway because that's what I wanted.
I got a dip powder manicure. He dipped one base coat and two color coats. He did not use the drill to clean up the edges, and went straight to the gel top coat. I have dip and top coat on my cuticles and edges of my fingers. He did not trim my cuticles. Sub par manicure that is already chipping around the edges. Paid $40. My sister also had an appointment to have her nails done with me at the same time. She was sat across the room from me. Her manicure was also sloppy, drill work was not done well, and she had dip on her cuticles.
The salon is large but understaffed. One to three people were waiting the whole time I was there, but only 2-3 techs were doing manicures at a time with at least 10 additional seats open.
Very disappointing for a new salon so close to home. Unfortunately I will not be back and I would not recommend to a friend. Miracle Nails on 281 is till the best salon in town and...
Read moreFirst and last time going here ! Service was terrible during and after ! My daughter and I went in to get pedicures her nails polished and I wanted a full set. It took 2 HOURS for my pedicure because the lady who did mine was inexperienced and had to get someone else to come over to complete my service. The guy who came over to do my acrylic on my two toes was unprofessional as well and didnât even finish the job he put the acrylic on without a nail tip ! and did not file or shape them at all. And once the lady got back I told her and she didnât know how to finish shaping them so she just put the shellac on that pedicure was 58 dollars plus 10 and plus 15 for gel to leave unsatisfied âŚ. I paid 35 dollars for my 5 year olds pedicure which was half way done. Her cuticles were not trimmed or anything he literally just dipped her feet in water and polished her toes no lotion or anything was put on no massage or anything and they charge full price for kids, and didnât even put her in a kid pedicure bowl and they had two of them from what I seen and they sat her in a regular adult chair, didnât even offer. I got there around 5 and didnât leave until about 7 after I seen how my toes came out I absolutely didnât wanna get my nails done here, and plus they were about to close and everybody was in a rush to leave. So we left and my daughter got her nails polished which later all washed off in the bathtub. I Paid 15 I believe for her nails to be polished it wasnât even a full manicure. I called the salon today and asked for a refund that they refused only offering to redo them I said if you redo them they will just wash off again it doesnât make sense to redo them they lasted less than 24 hours. And when I do her nails at home they last longer than that ! No complimentary service no integrity, nothing and very overpriced for horrible service. my ticket was $116 for absolutely NOTHING. 0/10 if I could give...
Read moreDonât believe the hype-I went to the grand opening and was extremely disappointed. I got there a little after 2:30, was seated and they got the water ready. When the gentleman took my drink order he said they were out of all the drinks I chose. Okay great. I asked him if he could find the lady to tell her the pedicure water was cold. He put his hand in the water (guess he didnât believe me) and told me he would tell her. She comes back and tells me sorry no more hot water. We only have hot water in the morning and weâve had lots of people already. I should have gotten up and left but I felt since my feet were already in I was obligated to stay. They lure you in with all these wonderful things they have going on - which I was told nothing about. I went later on in the day so I didnât even bother to ask about a raffle ticket or a taco. I just wish I was given a heads up letting me know they didnât have hot water then I wouldnât be here writing a review (mad at myself mostly) When it was time to check out the lady asked me how everything was..I told her not great since the water was cold and not relaxing. She says awwe really Iâm sorry and have a great day! They made this place sound so amazing and I was so excited to go. I understand that since I wasnât there early I didnât get anything they advertised, but how did I just pay and sit through a cold water pedicure?! I wouldnât soak my feet in cold water at home so why did I feel pressured to...
