francesca's — Local services in San Antonio

I’m definitely not one to take the time or put energy into writing a negative review but my recent visit to this Francesca’s was not a pleasant one to say the least. After purchasing a body suit I attempted to return it with my original receipt & was told by Jeanette the shift “manager” that unfortunately it couldn’t be returned due to the fact that it was considered an intimate clothing item. I stated I was unaware & no one had informed me of this when purchased. She proceeded to check the date of receipt & stated “I was here that day. I heard her (Sofie) tell you that it could not be returned” I was a little taken back as everyone in the store could hear her response to me & was utterly shocked & embarrassed. This was 3 days after purchase, never saw her there my initial visit. Regardless, I explained it was fine & would just take store credit or a gift card in which her response was “we can’t do that either”, “you can have the shirt back or you can look for something in store & exchange.” At this point I didn’t even want anything in return but to get out of the store & never return. Her tone, demeanor & responses were not that of a “shift manager” granted I was in the wrong for not being particularly familiar with the return policy I suppose. As a professional I believe it could been a much smoother exchange. I hope she was just having a bad day. Moral of the story, know their return policy & take the time to drive to the quarry or la cantera location to encounter a more pleasant shopping experience. I love Francesca’s so I...

Made a purchase a couple of days ago. A couple of items didn't work out for me so I came in to return them. It was literally just two days ago. The young lady who was helping me remembered me. She refused to refund one item that the tag had ripped off. It ripped off when I was trying it on, it was a turtle neck dress so it was tight to remove and it got caught in my hair and came off but I never wore it out and I brought the tag back in with it. This is the only Francesca’s I shop at. I love the manager Heidi, she’s always pleasant & the rest of the staff. They’re such awesome girls and are always helpful!! I Love Jeannette as well!! She’s so awesome.. Been shopping here for about 2 years , never been a probably and I still go here regularly to buy stuff and online I’ll ship to there usually.
