I have lived here for over a year. I initially chose the apartment due to the proximity of work and overall aesthetics of the apartments. Since then, it has gone from bad to worse.
The apartments are very expensive and at first glance I assumed with the price, I would be paying for quality; however, the cabinets are particle board with vinyl lining, floors are plastic instead of wood (both of which are peeling up or bubbling already), the trim has paint splatters everywhere, the floors are starting to fade in certain areas ... Cheap.
Now let's talk about trash. They have a valet trash service costing $25 a month that you cannot opt out of. I am not able to use this service though because I leave for work too early. If you leave for work early or come home late, your trash can in the hallway gets you a citation. On top of this, people who do use the service don't get their trash picked up until noon or later everyday leaving the hallways with a trashy smell. On top yet again, there is ONE dumpster for all 200+ apartments. This is always overfilled and making the rest of the property smell like trash. Let's say it's the weekend (where the trash service doesn't pick anything up) and you have trash. The dumpster is generally kept inside a trash room. This room becomes filled to literally 4 feet high with trash. Thus you have no where to put your trash except the trash shoot (one per floor) which happens to have the same thing going on. This may not be the managements fault and certainly is the rude people that live here's fault, but they aren't doing anything about it.
Pets: I love dogs, but not when they make every hallway smell like urine due to their owner's inability to walk them to the dog areas. Almost every corner of the building smells like urine in the sun.
Parking: there are more covered spots (another $45) than there are regular spots. The regular spots are also tiny. If you have a truck, you need two or you can't get out of your space. If you have a guest, they aren't allowed to park in the gated area, which is sometimes common practice. However, there are around 15 spots for the 200+ apartments. On a holiday weekend, your guests may be parking at Pizza Hut.
Management: one of the most un-helpful groups of people I have ever spoken with. When the apartment changed management, I hadn't realized they had switched to a new payment process and my auto payment was not drafted. Instead of the management calling or emailing to tell me I was late, they let the late charges rack up for days until on day seven I was given an notice that eviction proceedings would take place in three days. It took two more weeks to get a hold of a "manager" to dispute the charges. My thoughts are, if I'm paying $1000 for 600 ft2, I should have someone calling me on the day before rent is overdue (since I have never missed another payment or had any sort of complaint) to see if there was a mistake. Not get an eviction notice. Now this month their pay online is down. I called to see if they would extend the due date since I cannot pay and the past due date falls on federal holiday. I was repeatedly told it would be up by the end of Saturday and if not, they would figure something out with management. Not consoling at all especially after my last fiasco.
These are just my complaints. Other friends I have who live here have had multiple power outages that were on the building's electrical system and not due to a storm or something.
Overall, poor construction/engineering mixed with managements ineptitude and overpricing has this as the worst place I...
Read moreBEWARE: Reviews on Google pertaining to certain individuals may be misleading. I moved in in September 2023, and moved out in April 2024. Move in was stressful because they were changing property OWNERSHIP and were not organized. Move out has been stressful because EVERYONE in the leasing office has changed. Before moving out I was told by a David the amount would be about $1300 in WRITING. Then it changed to $2500 the day I was signing my move out agreement. I’ve spoken to four different people since moving out hoping to get answers about my deposit refund. Apparently my account was “closed” when I moved out. I spoke to someone early May they said the check would be mailed by end of month, called back first week of June a new person said they didn’t have a forwarding address so I provided again and they said I’d have the check in a week. Called yesterday and a NEW person said account was closed and there was damage so I was charged for it. I sent proof that the damage was there BEFORE me but it has not been resolved.
Yeah sure the apartment has great amenities but the management is so chaotic and unreliable to say the least. Even maintenance can take forever and the elevators break easily. Not to mention if you have anything larger than a compact car, you’ll have trouble getting in and out of every spot. The only parking is along the gates and they’re too small. They went for a quantity vs quality and even at that, the numbers of parking spots are limited because most parking is carport. There are too many units in this complex in general. They tried to squeeze a big complex on a small lot when it was built obviously for more money.
The place is infested with roaches. I did everything I could to keep them out with bait and sprays and cleaning all the time but they remained. And the pest control we pay for, had to be scheduled and never showed up.
The dog parks are not dog parks btw. They’re turf which is cool but if you have anything bigger than a terrier, it’s basically just a spot for your dog to pee in. They’ll never be able to run around.
Everything is electronic and there’s no way around it. The lock on my door was broken from 3 months so I had no code to get into my door and had to use my phone every time. Heaven forbid my phone die. The gate was also accessed through an app they refused to give a gate code. And on top of that I wasn’t ever sent the codes for the walk in gate or the pool gates from day one.
Theres an issue with the homeless population due to the bus stop right outside the gates that never work and the run down hotel next door. My car was broken into, there was a shooting, cars were stolen and police were called multiple times in my 6 months there.
There’s no restrooms in either pool location so either you can hold your pee until you can get into your unit or let it out in the pool. Location is great but tbh there are SO many other complexes in the area I’m sure you’ll find something better than this place.
The attached photos show the correspondence between myself and the complex. You’ll see a new name on each email signature for proof. I like to be factual in my reviews. The photo of “damage” was very clearly painted over before I moved in on September 1st which is day one of my leasing agreement. They charged me $230 for the damage that “I” caused. Photo is time stamped on that date as well. I wish there was a way to email reviewers so I could answer any questions but hopefully this gives you...

TLDR- Huge roach infestation Crazy elevator issues in majority of buildings Dog shit and piss in the halls or on your door Makes you pay monthly for pest control without automatically coming to “control pests” as any other complex would… Towing issues with absolutely 0 warning Cars being broken into Storages being broken into
Please pay attention to the likes and reactions on these “5 star” posts and the “ 1 star “ that should tell you all you need to know.
First off I wanna say this new management has been absolutely atrocious. I did not sign with these folks on my first lease contract. Khadijah (sorry if I spelt that wrong girl we miss you!!!!) was the person who made me love it here and clearly worked with/ loved her residents. I do not get the same vibe or grace from the new management. These new people do nothing but take sides fine you for bullshit but contradict themselves in doing so.
I have been here about a year and a half. I also had a friend that moved in shortly after I did to another unit. The first thing she noticed in her apartment were the GERMAN ROACHES and SPIDERS… I didn’t see it for too long until I did and I thought maybe it was me maybe I should clean up a bit. No. I have had numerous neighbors moving in and asking me “hey do you have roaches? I don’t know what’s going on but our first night we saw a ton of them.” Also had a friend down the hall from me that said the same thing and that was one of the reasons they were moving out Rightfully so. There’s a roach infestation that these people have not addressed at all. It’s a pretty apartment surely but it’s not worth the hassle to move here and see roaches on your counter right after you’ve cleaned. Or find some in your closet in your kitchen. OH also did I mention that instead of pest control coming to do what’s in the name at least once a month they expect YOU to schedule when they come but STILL CHARGE YOU FOR IT. What pests are you controlling for me to still pay for that….
Additionally you cannot park outside the gate theirs a 50 percent chance your car will be broken into and what does the office do? Leave the police report on the hood of your car and that’s it. They don’t show you footage of what happened they don’t call you to tell you your car has been broken into. The only thing they will tell you is “welp shouldn’t have parked outside” oh ok….as you can see on other reviews you also can’t park INSIDE either bc you’ll get towed with no warning whatsoever and again the office says “welp sign on to parqking!!”
Listen I understand fining people who leave dog poop at your parks sure. But if you’re going to fine me or any one else with that MAKE SURE YOUR ELEVATORS WORK FOR THE ELDERS. MAKE SURE DOGS ARENT PISSING ON MY OR OTHER RESIDENTS FRONT DOOR STEP OR SHITTING IN THE HALLS!!! MAKE SURE THIS ROACH INFESTATION (because that’s exactly what it is) IS UNDER SOME SORT OF CONTROL!!!
You can find better. It’s pretty and the office people will butter you up. They have events and food trucks that come by (that are way overpriced btw) but I’m telling you now you sign that paper you will run into issues that shouldn’t be there and that they will never tell you about nor...
