Products you have on sale + availability of those products. In particular to the Alamo Heights store, your staff are extremely helpful when I am having trouble locating a product, checking out or when I purchase something to pick up in store (speed of picking out for me).
Firstly, the receipt I used to log into your survey was not the one I intended to use from my most recent visit, when visiting to purchase my baby girl some new toys (I believe the 09.25.19). So to start with the bad... I am pretty used to this by now, but I feel that I shouldn't have to keep looking at the Target App to check on prices of products to make sure they match! I bought 4 different toys for my baby girl the other day and only ONE toy was price matched both on the app and shelf. The other 3 toys had to be price changed at the check out to match the price showing through your app/online. I had met another mother whilst looking at toys who had picked up one of the same toys I had and it made me feel guilty that I hadn't mentioned the price thing to her as she probably paid the extra $8 shown on the shelf. That is NOT small change! It is, in my opinion very dishonest and if these prices are shown online they should also reflect in store on your systems and shelves! Now to the good... I had the pleasure of dealing with Alexis that day when checking out the toys I had chosen to buy. She went through all price checking with me, thoroughly and apologised for the inconvenience of having to take more time to correct all the pricing errors. She was extremely patient, pleasant and POLITE! This is one of the things I have always been impressed with when visiting any Target store and is a great reflection of your training/store standards. Once confirmed, she made the corrections and assisted me with payment as I was paying by cash that day. She took extra time to help me load the toys back into my cart, as I was also juggling a little monster and made cooey faces at my little girl whilst I sorted my change. She left me feeling extremely happy and satisfied with my shopping trip. I would very much also appreciate that these comments reach her. I know how it is in supermarket/store environments but I feel that passing comments on to the staff members is an extremely positive thing to let them know they ARE APPRECIATED! Read moreFirst and last time shopping here. Cashier KIANA had a terrible attitude. Today, as I approached the register I greeted her with a "Hi, how are you" , Kiana rolled her eyes and gave a very unpleasant look. When Kiana noticed I was using some coupons, she was handling the items with a very poor and rough attitude and when asked what the total was rolled her eyes again. Kiana proceeded to tell me one of the coupons did not match because it had to be the one on the picture. I asked her to please read the description of the coupon and tell me why. Kiana began to raise her voice shaking her head saying ITS NOT, I AM RIGHT and laughing with a very condescending tone of voice while looking at the other customer in line. I have been using coupons to donate for many years. I would have paid in full for the items the coupons wouldn't work but I was humiliated and was willing to give me a hard time from the first try. I utilize coupons at a different location because I donate hundreds of dollars in hygiene items to teens shelters. This cashier does not know the reasons why someone uses coupons which are provided to use and counted as cash (makes no difference and I am not stealing), it could be me stretching the remainder of my paycheck for my family of 6. I felt very disrespected, humiliated with my 2 and 7 year old with me. I left all of the items because it was already overwhelming with my 2yo crying. These items I was picking up were much needed like the deodorant, body wash, hand soap and hand sanitizer. Perhaps employees need further training on customer service, proper way to greet customers and a little bit of empathy. I was treated by this cashier as if I was stealing. Spoke to Jenn at 9pm on 08/21/22 at customer service at the Target in Alamo Heights on Austin HWY because I returned a game and I got a store credit. I had the receipt HOWEVER I stated they could give me whichever easier because I was buying another game anyway. We bought the wrong one card game . It was unopen and unused. They didn't have the game I needed it in stock . I asked well can you order it and ship it to my home or the store . Spoke to Amber in customer service who said YES, However she was clearly new and need assistance and Jenn came to help. She was RUDE condescending and short. Told me I couldn't use my merchandise card to buy the game and get it ship the the store nor my home. I then asked to be refund back to my card .. She stated well since I choose the merchandise card I could no longer have that option. I said well please have the game ship to the store and I will buy it with the card when it arrive. She said that ALSO couldn't be done. I stated the item isn't in stock at this point it HOWEVER it is an item that is sold in store online it is there was 3....so please have the item restocked so I can buy the game with the card since I cant get a refund now that I got a merchandise card. I had no option to have it ship to my house nor the store. Please just have the item restocked so I can come buy it off the shelf. Jenn was rude and refuse to do either...
