Okay, here is a novel, but worth the read. I haven't had my eyes checked in many years and really needed some new glasses. I was searching for an optometrist and came across Stone Oak Vision Source. After reading the reviews I decided to make my appointment, which was a a nice experience in itself. I have to say from the moment I walked in the door I was pleasantly greeted by all the beautiful ladies, Lynda had all my insurance and everything ready and got me promptly checked in. Bailee who was also so sweet took me back right away to get my appointment started and ready to see the doctor... then the time came where I got the absolute pleasure of meeting Dr. Mann. What can I say about him only that he is such a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable Optometrist and was amazing to be seen by. You can tell he truly cares about each of his patient's. He answered all my questions and concerns and made sure I understood everything he told me before I left the room... I am an old woman lol. Then after discussing the changes in my vision and mentioning some options for my new prescription glasses he walked me out to meet Jenn the one that helps with glasses. Let me just say, she knows her stuff. She pulled one frame for me to try and was a perfect fit. She then had to have shown me a couple handfuls of frames, but I ended up going with her first pick that everyone in the office loved and ordered my glasses. She's honest and tells you like it is. She too is very knowledgeable and they were very reasonable in pricing. The frame selection is amazing. All in all it was one of the best experience at an eye doctors office I have ever had in all my years. I have definitely found my home optometrist office! I recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Mann is a LIFESAVER...Let me explain. I'd recently gotten a new vision prescription and was trying out contacts for the first time. While I initially went to another optometrist, I still felt my contacts just didn't feel quite right. I had heard about Dr. Mann through some well-trusted friends and I decided to give his office a call. Though it seemed he was pretty booked up, his office let me know I could come in the following day for a second opinion. When I arrived at his practice I was greeted by a lovely women who offered me a selection of beverages while I waited. I snagged a blueberry sparkling water (I know, fancy right?) and took a seat on one of the cozy couches, but before I could even open my drink I was called back to the exam room. That's when I met the man, the myth, the legend. Dr. Mann may look young but don't let it fool you. He was extremely thorough and listened to my every concern. You could just tell he knows his stuff... And he's not one of those doctors just trying to rush you in and out, then collect the check...He actually cares! Not only did he adjust my prescription to a much more accurate reading, but he even took the time to help me pick out some fresh new specs and recommended a BETTER/MORE AFFORDABLE option on contacts.

I was hesitant at first to drive all the way from Austin to San Antonio just to see the eye doctor, but looking back on my experience, I'd make that drive ten times over again. Much love Doc and see...
