Once In A Wild Mobile Zoo — Attraction in Bulverde

I hired Once in a Wild for an animal "meet & greet" at my son's birthday party. The party was 2/17/2024 and I contacted them on the Wednesday before (pretty short notice). Douglas, their planning coordinator, worked quickly and was able to get us booked the same day.

He referred me directly to Amanda, the owner, to help me pick which package would best suit our needs in addition to which animals would make for the best experience. She was extremely knowledgeable and responsive.

Bridget was the animal handler for our party and arrived an hour early to setup and make sure the animals were comfortable. She did an awesome job of managing 7 different animals and a bunch of curious children (and adults). She knew so much about each of the animals and made the experience fun and educational for the older kids and adults.

I can't recommend Once in a Wild enough. They're extremely professional and made my son's birthday very special. We will definitely be using them again...

My friend and I were just talking about the birthday party I had for my kids. It was an absolute hit!

Communication with Amanda was clear and responsive. She sent me the list of the different animals that we could have. I had several questions regarding them and Amanda was patient and informative. I let each child pick their favorites. The showstoppers were the owl and large rabbit!! So cool!!

There were too many to choose from. So we had a variety of animals. The snakes were great as well!!

The animals are well cared for! Amanda knows everything about them! We learned so much!

Once in a Wild did our daughter’s third birthday, “Wild and Three”. They completely knocked it out of the park! Booking with them was easy, and Amanda was really thorough with what to expect, what animals would be best for toddlers, and what space/accommodations they’d need. The team was on time, professional, friendly, and did so great with little kids! They made sure everyone was able to pet, hold, and take pictures with the animals. My daughters and their friends (ages 2-5) had SO much fun! Even the adults loved holding and petting all the animals. The animals were absolutely precious and so fun to interact with.
