My wife and I ate here for lunch for the first time on a Saturday. Both of the gentlemen working at that time were extremely friendly, answered our questions about menu items, and after we got our food checked on us more than once to see how we were doing and if we liked the food. We saw that they did this with every customer. Bonus points for their customer service.

The food itself was excellent, and was not just thrown on our tray. Arranged neatly, with the sauces in the middle, it was a nice presentation for fast food. Each order is cooked to order, so we waited somewhere between 10-15 minutes for our food, but it was great. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly, the meet in the combo gyros we got was terrific and super-tender. The pita itself was very soft and tasted great. We had three sauces to dip our gyros and/or fries in: a heavy garlic creamy sauce, a buffalo-like sauce that was spicy, but not over-the-top and very good, and a third that appeared to be a combination of the first two. All were good. You WILL have garlic breath after the first one. LOL.

What we didn't know before we got there was that in-restaurant seating is very limited. Two 4-person tables at the front and a counter along the right wall with high seats for a few more. It is tight, and clearly most of their business is takeout, as there was a steady stream of folks coming to pick up orders while we were there. We were able to get one of the tables and that worked just fine.

All in all, a great first try experience with very good food. I want to highlight again how friendly the guys were to new and repeat customers. More restaurants need to follow that model. Great job by the...

Gyro was unremarkable, sauce was too onion powder forward, made with dry vs fresh seasonings. Gyro meat was cooked on the flat top with water which gave it a mushy consistency and under seasoned. Pita was store bought and too soft the sandwich fell apart. Cooks need training, it took 15 minutes to cook already cooked gyro meat and assemble a gyro. Sandwich was barely Luke warm when it was handed to me and I stood there in the store watching them assemble it. Sauces need to be reinvented they were rather bland. They had 1 vertical grill which was out of order and they need 3. Only two chairs outside if they can’t put out food fast they will end up with people standing around everywhere. Poorly ventilated I don’t think the vent hoods were working. Cooks were teens standing around and there was another patron waiting for his food for 10 minutes after I ordered my food! He seemed to be ok though he had a cell phone to watch while the staff did nothing. I was hoping for something great but maybe New York street food just isn’t that great or his rendition is nothing like what is available in New York. Demos is probably 30 magnitudes higher in quality, ingredients, taste, and timeliness. I will NOT eat here again. I wasn’t paid to create this review just a normal guy that calls it like I see it from what I have experienced in San Antonio. Don’t take my word experience the mediocrity for yourselves with your own hard earned money. Definitely wasn’t worth $10.00 for...

This restaurant is authentic, delicious, and budget friendly. Their meat is true Halal, drinks are served by the can/not fountain. A great spot to pick up lunch for yourself and or colleagues. Would reccomed to locals and families. The restaurant is a bit small with two 4top tables. However this is a much healthier and tastier option from its surrounding competitors.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Walked in and staff was friendly and helpful. Asked if it was my first time, then explained some menu options and made a few suggestions. Ordered a gyro chicken, gyro lamb, and massala fries. Saw everything made fresh in the open kitchen and was ready within 10 minutes. Grabbed a seat up front to enjoy it while it was fresh. Having eating authentic gyro's in NYC and other authentic places, this was the real deal. Meat was cut just right, tasted great, mixed with fresh vegetables, and served in a soft pita. Both the lamb and chicken tasted great. While eating the massala fries, the owner came out and explained how he came up with the idea and has been testing the seasoning before putting it on the menu. The seasoning added a nice kick and flavoring to the waffle fries. Overall, great food and service with a good staff and owner who really care about your experience. Several times they asked how everything was tasting and if there was anything they could do. Will definitely be back to support this small business.
