Don’t eat here if you’re satisfied with the way things are.
This place will change the way you think about barbecue, it’ll change the way you think about curry, and it’ll change the way you think about… wait, no — that’s it. It’s just amazing barbecue and rich, flavorful curry.
A friend brought me here when they first opened the Stone Oak location and I really didn’t know what to expect. I had heard about these Boys, but I hadn’t had their fare. The helpful cashier made suggestions to doctor up a Smoke Show bowl (extra serving of protein, no rice, extra veggies), but I had no clue what I was in for.
The explosion of flavor unraveled secrets of the universe.
The warm embrace of the curry soothed childhood trauma (I really wanted that bike).
The smoky boldness of the barbecue reminded me of the strength that was dormant inside these old bones - ok this is getting weird.
The food was amazing. The service was really good. And the location is fantastic because this area doesn’t have a lot of fast-casual lunch spots so I can dip in between appointments, grab a hearty meal, and get back to it.
Thanks for the great eats, Curry...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Curry Boys BBQ, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The fusion of barbecue and curry is truly unique, and they execute it perfectly.
The brisket curry was a standout dish, with tender, smoky brisket complemented by a rich, flavorful curry sauce. The spices were well-balanced, offering a delightful blend of heat and complexity without overpowering the meat. The sides were equally impressive, especially the garlic naan, which was perfect for soaking up every last bit of the delicious curry.
The atmosphere at Curry Boys BBQ is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a laid-back meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
Overall, Curry Boys BBQ offers a creative and mouth-watering twist on traditional barbecue that you won't find anywhere else. Whether you're a fan of barbecue, curry, or both, this place is a must-visit. Highly...
Read moreI had the tony parker related dish, and Gotta be honest here the fusion is a little odd i love me some curry i really do but the flavors just didnt match or blend well, the pork really over whelms the flavors of the light curry sauce with its potent bbq flavor you get from smoking the meats, the meat its self was tender and really good but since there is allot of rice and very little sauce thats about all you will taste along with the cilantro all over the place, over all the dish was good but is definetly diffrent, if i could make a reccomendation dont use as much cilantro on everything, it really doesnt help the dish given how potent the flavors are in comparison to each other, also the price is a little high for 1 bowl was around 20$ with tip included, but aside from that i would have given 5 stars i hate to give it 4 only have tried one dish but check it out its worth a try just is an odd...
