I can give this Store a. 2 👎👎stars, for 3 reasons.. 1# Bad Supervision by Store Managers, b'cuz they treat there employees so bad & disrespectful in front of other customer's. The store managers are so rude specially a baldy guy & the manager in the Hot food side with the customers. 2# there customer service ladys are so rude & unpatients with olderly ppl & customers in the front counter where u pay the bills & lines to pay bills are to long ridiculously..3# there 🍞 bread & hot food meat are hard & been there since morning tel night or from the other day.. So thts my rating.. Better customer service by managers & employees at Cardenas in 40st in Sn.Ber. O about ur security, one of them eats bread etc & drinks soda or water without paying.. Wat example of caring or watching the store is tht.. The older security is better he watchs & sees better.. O on the bakery side, they should take the poster tht says the make ur duros preparados when the ladys dont do them or are to lazy to make them .. They say the do churros locos & thous lady in the bakery department are to lazy to do wat the posters say they make or do, False advertising!.. Im a regular customer but the new store manager follows me like if ur...

Went in today with my husband and children to purchase dinner because it was conveniently on our way home. We get to the register to pay for our items they had zero bags to put our items in. The security guard was standing right next to the bagging area having a conversation with the cashier and one other coworker as we were being rang up for our items, (he clearly watched us pay) on our way out my younger daughter asked for a raspado so we stopped to purchase her one from the bakery near the exit, once it was paid for he comes running out behind us yelling (let me see your receipt!) Mind you we have nooooo bags so we're holding everything in hands, after he just watched us pay for everything he demanded our receipt, so my husband and I had to put our groceries on the ground and search our pockets for this receipt he had just clearly seen us get! I am so frustrated with this place I'll never bring my business here again! I'll stick with clean and respectful starter brothers from now on... also the meat department smell disgusting, and there's nothing but a dirty drug infested parking lot full of panhandlers. Management needs to train their employees to respect...

Beware of the used syringes in their parking lot. Watch closely where you step or what your little ones might pick up. Neither the City of Highland nor Cardenas management has any SOP set in place for disposal of sharp objects that create public health hazard. Sad. P.S. Something that Cardenas management might consider.
