Mariscos El Chapo — Restaurant in San Bernardino

I’m so sad and disappointed, I love seafood and today I wanted to try this place and was so excited because a friend told me they were good, and well first and last time I come here. We waited a lot to see if someone come and take us to our seats or to ask if we just grab any table, which we did because no one came, I ordered three tostadas and I mean a tostada it’s just a hard tortilla with the food on the top so three were fine , but when they arrived they were huge, like with one were even a lot for me, and of course very expensive and the waitress never said anything which she should’ve, I mean who on earth would’ve eating that. When the first one came I tried to cancel the other ones but they said no. Another thing , we ordered 12 oysters and they were so bad, Idk if they frozen them or what but they weren’t fresh or even ok, and after we ask for the check and waited a lot because the waitress forgot it , we mentioned the oysters, of course were going to paid them, we already asked for the check we just wanted them to know so they’d check them, but they waitress was so rude and defensive she just said everyone is being asking for oysters and no one has said anything, I couldn’t believe what she just said. And finally again we waited for her to take the credit card and pay but we had to go to the entrence and pay because she was no were to be seeing.

Now I left that place feeling so humiliated for the way she treated us , because it wasn’t only the oysters thing, all the time she was like if we were disturbing her.

I gave mariscos El Chapo five stars I've been to all kinds of places and ate the finest foods but I would say mariscos El Chapo has the hottest as in temperature as in spicy food there is around don't get me wrong a lot of places that I've been to have been restaurants and fast food places mom and pop places and I must say this is the hottest food by touch and taste around. I ordered the molcajete that came with chicken carne asada cactus shrimp onions bell pepper and a big old slab of cheese on the side they had corn tortillas rice and beans and I ordered the flour tortillas on the side and I also have the campechana and everything was fresh it had shrimp octopus clams oysters avocado onions cucumber and get this it was a slow creeper meaning you don't taste the heat right away but it started kicking in they provided ketchup saltine crackers tostada shells and lime and their homemade sauce it's a really big place you could bring your family members and I'm sure it'll accommodate up to 40 people at a sitting are you can bring your loved one and they have little tiny booths where you can sit at and eat I ordered a michelada Modelo and it was very tasty my wife had the harmeca and the ice was amazing they had good water as well and that was in a little mason jar which I thought it was pretty cool so yes if you're looking for a place that serves hot food spicy food shrimp steak whatever it is I say come to this place and check it out you won't...

DO NOT GO HERE!! Service was slow, the waitress was sitting at a table eating while working, came to check on us once and I asked for limes and she never brought them but instead sat back down to watch TV and eat. While the food was decent it is not worth being robbed. I was there the other day and when my bill came I quickly glanced at the total, put my card down and let the waitress take it, she called who I assume is the owner or manager to charge my card. They stayed up at the register for about 10 minutes while looking like they were figuring something out. My original bill was $32.38, but when she brought back the receipt for me to sign it was $70.04. . .I took my receipt back up and asked why it one total and then charged differently to my card. Immediately he said "oooh oh okay here" and gave me the change. No questions asked, didn't look for the original bill nothing and said there was a glitch with the machine. So had I not checked the total I would have been charged more than double my bill??? The way he reacted right away told me that because I didn't pick up the bill and make sure each charge was right they thought they could take advantage of me and steal money from me.
