Update July 17, 2023 I had a rock hit my windshield while on a road trip and had some potential issues with my Cayenne so I scheduled a service call to look into my concerns and Porsche Fort Myers took care of my windshield replacement and calibration while the vehicle was in their shop. They worked through my insurance company which made the experience totally painless.
Eddie Torres, the Service Advisor exceeded my expectations for this visit.
Update June 12, 2023 I used the service department for two different vehicles and once again the total experience was timely, painless, and professional.
Update April 11, 2023 I just purchased my 2nd Porsche from Porsche fort Myers and it was a great experience. I had been looking for another Porsche for some time and Robert Dorsey (salesman) called me whenever they got a new trade that may meet my requirements and finally that magic call whcih came directly from the GM, Mitchell Sherwood, late afternnoon and closed the deal the next morning. Everything was done quickly and with no issues. They even delivered the car to my home to save me a trip to the dealership.
This is the 2nd Porsche purchase from this Porsche dealership in just two years and each time it was painless and enjoyable.
Update Oct 19, 2022 I took my Cayenne S in for the 2-year Factory Services. When I brought it in, I was told about a recall regarding the reprogramming related to the battery sensor. They mentioned that this reprogramming takes two hours and sometimes needed to be redone if it does not complete successfully. The Service Advisor, Yanni Kratsas was extremely professional, and he had all of the required services completed that day.
I did have a small issue with what items were included in my prepaid service contract, but Yanni made good on meeting my expectations without fuss or pushback.
I know there was a lot of staff turnover at the dealership but the GM, Mitchell Sherwood, seems to have resolved those issues so customers should have a much better experience when bringing your vehicle in for servicing.
UPDATE Dec 17, 2021 I had several electric faults show up after driving for a short distance with my 2021 Cayenne S. When I restarted the SUV later on, the fault messages disappeared from the messages display. I contacted the Service Manager Tim Klosek, as I was concerned if the faults were a major problem or not. I was able to set up and appoint in 1 day and his techs ran a full scan and cleared old fault codes from memory and I was advised that the vehicle was safe to drive and should not experience these faults messages again. I was please to learn that Porsche Fort Myers has two new service Advisors, Aaron Bennett and Monika Lategano. Aaron handled my appointment and he tool care of my issues promptly and porfessionaly.
The Partner, General Manager of Porsche Fort Myers, Mitchell Sherwood, is always pleasent to talk with; regarding anything related to Porsche or his dealership.
Google does not make it easy to post more than one review per site which I personally thinkg that is a poor business policy and shortchanging those who want to share multiple visit experiences.
OLDER REVIEWS FOR PORSCHE FORT MYERS I recently traded my 911 Cabriolet on a new Porsche Cayenne, and I am very pleased with the overall deal, the process was fair and painless. Robert Dorsey, who is their Selection Specialist, was extremely helpful in picking out the options that will be best to suit my tastes and driving style.
Mitchell Sherwood, the Managing Partner, was very helpful in fairly evaluating the value of my trade in and approved the overall package deal with professionalism and no haggling.
I then had the opportunity to use their service department for a 4 -wheel alignment for another Porsche SUV and Patrick Davis, Service Advisor, made the service appointment work like a clock and the work was completed in record time. He even arranged to bring my car home to me and pick up their loaner vehicle so I would not have to make the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a certified pre-owned Macan GTS. I was exceptionally satisfied with the sales, professional, Robert Dorsey, and his approach to customers. He, as well as the service manager, showed genuine concern for a satisfactory purchase experience. Robert was responsive to my many questions. The Tech guru got me started understanding the technology of the vehicle. Numerous videos hated the learning experience. The Fort Myers Porsche dealership is exceptionally clean and comfortable. All employees with whom I had contact were helpful, friendly, and courteous. I am very satisfied with my purchase and the purchasing experience.
Second Review 3-2-2023 Following the purchase of a certified preowned Macan GTS on January 19, 2023, we began researching vehicles for my spouse, Faye. We wanted a smaller car than the Porsche Macan. We spotted a preowned Porsche Cayman on the website of Fort Meyers Porsche. We called Robert Dorsey, Porsche Certified Brand Ambassador, to ask his opinion regarding the vehicle and the others available for sale. We arrange to visit the dealership to look at a 2018 certified Porsche Cayman. It was in perfect condition and it took Faye about five minutes to decide that she wanted that vehicle Mr. Dorsey was exceptional in his guidance and the information he provided. Again, Robert Dorsey was exceptionally responsive to our many questions. He is the perfect ambassador for the Porsche brand and Fort Myers Porsche dealership. Vehicle preparation began immediately and extended into the next day. The sales paperwork process was very easy and quick, unlike many long and painful processes that we have experienced with other dealerships. If you are considering ownership of a Porsche, Faye and I highly recommend that you contact Robert Dorsey at the Fort Myers Porsche Dealership.
Third review August 1, 2023. As mentioned in two previous reviews, we purchased two Porsche vehicles from Porsche of Fort Myers Florida. The first was a preowned certified 2020 Macan GTS. After six months of ownership, I believe it is the best vehicle that I have ever owned. The second vehicle was a 2018 certified Porsche 718 Cayman S, which was intended for use by my wife. We enjoyed driving driving for Cayman S. However, I started thinking about fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a Porsche 911 Carrera. I shopped the Internet and focused primarily on Porsche of Fort Myers Florida due to my previous great experience with that dealership. Patience paid off when the dealership accepted a trade-in of a 2021 911 Carrera with options that I preferred,, including the beautiful color, Gentian Blue. I contacted Porsche representative, Robert Dorsey with whom we had dealt with in the past (see above two reviews). My wife and I each took the 911 for a test drive and agreed that we should trade the Cayman S for the 911 Carrera. Robert Dorsey showed us prices of other comparable vehicles across South Florida. We greed to a fair price. We finance the vehicle through the dealership and it was delivered to our home later that day. Our experience matched that expressed in the above two previous reviews. Professional service by Robert Dorsey was beyond expectations. Dealership staff were exceptionally friendly. The facility was clean and well-maintained with a good offering of refreshments. We were again greeted by the assistant manager and other members of staff. Purchase and finance process were painless, unlike experiences with other dealerships. While there are many other Porsche dealerships within easy driving distance, there was no incentive to consider purchasing through a dealership other than Porsche of Fort Myers.
Porsche Macan was serviced on for brake pad replacement. Service manager John Chaffo promptly scheduled Service. Technician observed that the front tires were worn unevenly and recommended replacement and front and alignment. John offered a new loaner vehicle. We highly recommend Porsche Fort Myers at their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying my salesman Dylan was outstanding. He made my trade-in and purchase process smooth and truly enjoyableāhe went above and beyond to make the experience feel premium and memorable. My serious issue is entirely with Porsche Fort Myersā management and their handling of the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) process, which honestly shocked meāespecially when youāre spending $200k on a CPO GT Car. Upon delivery, several factory components were missing: the tire inflator, center lock tool, tire sealant, and frunk trim pieces. The car also had an aftermarket exhaust, but even more concerning, it came with tires that were neither the OEM-spec Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s nor Porsche N-Spec ratedāboth of which are clearly required by Porscheās CPO guidelines. When I brought these issues up at delivery, the General Managerās response was: āDo you want the car or not? It doesnāt change my day either way.ā Thatās just not what you expect to hear from any dealership, let alone a Porsche store. They offered to source some of the missing parts and insisted the exhaust and tires were āCPO compliant,ā but no one could provide any documentation to back up that claim. All I wanted was written confirmation that Porscheās CPO program allows for non N-Spec tires and aftermarket parts on a car like this. If itās compliant, show me in writing. Instead of clarity, I got nothing but defensiveness and evasiveness. This whole situation really soured my perception of what the Porsche CPO badge is supposed to represent. Iāve owned multiple Porschesāincluding another CPO carāand trusted Porscheās promise that a CPO vehicle is carefully inspected and brought up to factory standards. Missing components, the wrong tires, and an aftermarket exhaust simply donāt align with that promiseāit feels like corners were cut, or the process was skipped altogether. UPDATE: 3 Weeks Later I was originally optimistic that the dealership would make things right. Three weeks later, after a lot of research and phone calls to three other Porsche dealers, every one of them told me the same thing: thereās no way they would have CPOād my car as delivered. They said it wouldāve needed N-Spec tires (not the Mercedes-spec that are on it), a stock exhaust, and all the original components in place. One GM even personally called the Porsche North America regional rep for me. Iāve now spoken to the regional rep and multiple Porsche NA supervisors, all of whom agreed my concerns were legitimateābut Porsche NA can only mediate, not force the dealer to act. The dealer simply chose to do nothing, despite knowing about the questionable CPO process. So now Iām left with a $200K Porsche on the wrong Mercedes-spec tires, an aftermarket exhaust, and STILL missing parts. No call, no compromise, no effortāthey simply donāt care. Fixing their shortcuts will cost me $4,000ā$5,000 out of pocket. At this point it's not about money, itās about principle. The silverlining is Dan Kao at Porsche Naples offered to help source the right parts (at my cost of course), so this car can be the way it SHOULD have been delivered to me. Moral of my experience: Donāt trust this dealership with your Porsche dreamsāunless you want to play āCPO Roulette" and hunt for correct parts like its the worlds most expensive...
