Walking in, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a beautiful place and the atmosphere seemed fun. I thought this was a place I would really like to come to more often considering it’s so close to home. The food looked good. They were packed so I thought that was a good sign. We got to our table after 50 mins of waiting. We sat down close to the restrooms. Big mistake. Idk if someone just got sick in there or what but the smell was horrendous. It was hard to have an appetite after that. We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer and asked for cheese as well. We got them and it was underwhelming. But they’re chips so what do you expect right ? The cheese we ordered was in a small bowl that looked like a shot glass. This was very confusing. We ordered our food and after looking at the kids meals, I was a little shocked that they don’t come with drinks. But whatever. They drink water anyways. I ordered some type of Mexican bowl. I thought you really can go wrong with this. They had pickles onions all over it. It just looked like a very dry bowl. Nothing to tie it altogether. And the onions just didn’t belong. I should have taken a photo. It was honestly not good. I picked around to try and eat what I could. The grilled chicken that I added tasted like rubber. I’m not even sure it was real chicken. I was so dissatisfied with the food.
My daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla and when she got her food, the cheese on the inside of the tortilla was not even melted, making it a little difficult to eat, because who likes cold cheese. We asked our waitress to send it back so they could reheat it and they ended up making her a new one which I was thankful for. However, when it came back, it really just was not good. the cheese was still not melted and the outside was burned. I’m not even sure how that happens unless the heat is turned up too high.
My son ordered macaroni and cheese. Again I didn’t really have high expectations because it’s noodles and cheese but when they brought it out, I certainly was not expecting kraft, macaroni and cheese from a box. I could have made that at home for two dollars. It looked like it had been made that morning and reheat it up that evening. Everything was stuck together and very dry.
My husband on the other hand got enchiladas, he seem to like it OK, but his was covered in cheese and it’s hard not to like some thing that’s actually drowning and cheese. But at least he had good food. With everything else, he was very dissatisfied and mentioned he would not be returning. we all decided that it was just time to go, we wanted to go out that night and have a family dinner and celebrate some thing, but we should have chosen a different restaurant. Before leaving I took my two children to the restroom and I was completely shocked at how absolutely disgusting it was! Trash all over the floors toilets were dirty no toilet paper in either one of the stalls in the women’s restroom. And what’s worse was all the employees that were coming and going not even stopping to pick up anything or try to clean up. Altogether we just did not have a pleasant experience and I don’t believe that we will...
Read moreWe recently visited this stunning premises this past Saturday 8/19/2023 and on arrival at 6:30 am we where advised it will be a 90 min wait. We where like ok that's understandable for anew place when everyone wants to try it out. So of to the bar we went. I want to start by saying this review is for feed back and not to put down the place just my opinion on what they have to offer or can offer in the future and simply our experience. We ordered cocktails at the bar and to be honest more juice than alcohol in the beautiful served glasses. I think we deserve to at least taste the alcohol if I'm paying for it right. Exactly 75 min later we were seated in the middle. After 15 more min Our young male server very polite a little nervous and out with his writing pad he wrote down our order for 4 adults. We got our starters about 15 min after with drinks and i must sat the starters where delicious. Then came the mail course customer #1 plate was very skimpy and when i mention two small t-spoons of rice served cust #2 abd #3 ordered the same meal came out full plate but the food was cold and my plate I order a combo well they left out the scrimp on my plate and the sides small tinny bowl beans and rice and taco ALL cold and when the combo plate finally came if was hot. When our friends advised the food was cold the waiter did not know what to do and our friend we will just take it home and heat it up as she felt sorry for him. TRAINING! needed on this!! What he should of said oh sorry and let me replace both dishes and not just say ok I will get you boxes when two other of us where just eating. I was like OMG!! Next when it came to the bill we handed him 2 credit cards and what do you think he did? yip he charged each bill on the wrong card. I was like what else can go wrong. This place has so much potential and training is needed all around on how to service a table 100%! Also the dessert desk at the entrance is not only unhealthy to serve while people stand there and breath over the dessert with no protection glass it honestly needs to be removed. Music if you like to bop your head all the time it is loud and annoying and when it is some ones bday they bang on these drums and a song comes on and this can happen more than five times while you are there . I think they need to tone that down a bit as it is REALLY NOICY. Will I return. good question I think I will give them a couple of months to get it together providing more for your money and pour better cocktails. Word of advise it would be nice as a complimentary not to charge for the chips and salsa

Read moreWell… I have a lot to say. Mostly because the atmosphere and outside of the establishment is so well done, that it gave me very high hopes for how our dining experience would be.
Like I said, first impressions were great. Amazing decor! Feels like you’re in Miami. There was a weird smell when we were seated.. but you get used to it after a few minutes.
Yes.. you do have to pay for chips and salsa. Really not the vibe but I guess that’s how this place wants to roll.
The queso we ordered…. The dish it came in should be ILLEGAL. I’m going to include a picture…. They had two size options.. we went with the smaller one thinking it would at least be 8 oz.. I’ve ordered other small options for queso at restaurants and have never seen one this small. It’s the size you get when you order an entree and ask for some extra sauce on the side. The dish they serve it in is barely big enough to get your chip into. Chips and queso is my favorite thing at Mexican restaurants so I feel very strongly about this.
The service… our waitress was very nice. The food runners… our entire section of the restaurant was a mess. There is a lot of work to be done here. The runner put an entree in front of my husband… then after it had been sitting in front of him for 20 seconds or so the guy realized it was meant for the table next to us.. and took it off our table and served it to the other table. Our party of 4 had all of our food come out at different times. I used to be a server and help with running food and this is such a big no..
Food was good but nothing “wow”. The “side” of rice and beans that came with my entree were also in tiny condiment sized dishes. Rice was a little crunchy. Sooooo disappointing
The bill was recently priced for an appetizer (chips and salsa and the condiment size queso), 4 entrees and 4 alcoholic beverages.
I will say the Flaca margarita I had was EXCELLENT. It was so good that when we finished at our table, I went to the bar to grab one more.
The restaurant wasn’t closing for another hour and a half, but the bartender told us most of the bar was already closed/cleaned up for the night so the menu was limited. I asked for the Flaca again. Tasted nothing like the one I had just consumed 15 min ago…
Our whole experience was anywhere between a 2 and 3 out of 5 stars.. I feel too bad to give a brand new restaurant 2 stars. I hope next time we come back some of the issues myself and other patrons have talked about...
