Read moreIn my recent trip to my home sweet home, San Diego, I was thrilled to go "up the mountain" to Julian. My friend and I decided to go on a Tuesday, which was the only rainy day in some time. Nevertheless, we had a lovely lunch and I was able to visit most of the open shops in town with one of my best friends, Janice Jack, who manages The Warm Hearth. We walked through the rain to see what other shops were offering (since she never leaves her store) and I must say that by far and away, I was impressed by the comparison of The Warm Hearth to the others! Janice has done a remarkable job in merchandising and display of the gorgeous home goods and she knows what her customers love and enjoy. While browsing is encouraged, not buying something there is nearly impossible once the guests see what is offered. The only difficult part is deciding from one perfect thing over another! My friend bought gifts for giving to friends and family, including a beautiful Vera Bradley bag for herself! I absolutely love this store and recommend that every visitor to Julian checks it out. Even if you don't buy, you will thoroughly love walking through and perusing all the beautiful and useful things (you always wanted) and visiting with their friendly and knowledgeable staff! My favorite part of Julian is most certainly The Warm Hearth... I believe you will...

She then ran back to me and kept accusing me of opening the jar, and that her staff told her it was me.
Just so this is very clear to the staff: you guys are awful. I was showing my 4 year old what a cheese cutter was, where the jar happened to be on top. I literally just moved it to show her how the cheese cutter worked--my daughter barely has the strength to open a water bottle, and I wasn't interested in any of your cheap sauces.
Just FYI, your little jar being open shouldn't have been as serious as that old hag made it out to be. This experience was disgusting and embarrassing for her. Do better.
P.S. Check your cameras, I know...
