We were there for a weight lifting meet. We were told the entry fee was $15, but we were charged $20. The choice of music blarring over the speakers during the entire meet was rife with profanities, which got to be a bit too much. The weight lift presentation was great. The contestants were generally poised and professional and pleasant to be around. The contestants had a great disposition and good sports person like attitudes. Most were in their mid to late teens and 20s. The whole atmosphere was festive. Their was one female in her late 70's, who inspired everyone. There was ample parking at & around the building area, and it seemed safe. There were vending g machines with drinks and a few snacks in the building and other eateries nearby. The restroom facilities were 2 clean port-a-pooties outside the building and a hand washing station, which hardly had water. People are kind and generous and it really feels like a safe space for the inexperienced while also catering to the experienced. It’s a great gym for powerlifting and weightlifting.
