Went here couple months ago to get a haircut and get rid of my highlights and get a new hair color. I showed her pictures of my hair and the color i wanted (pic on the left) and she said she can do it and quoted me $200 for the hair color and haircut. When i got to the salon she started cutting my hair and about to start the process of coloring it and she said my hair is thick and would cost me $250 i was disappointed at first but i still said ok because she’s in the middle of doing my hair already so I didn’t bring up my concern that what we agreed on text message was only $200. So fast forward everything is done haircut and hair color but to my surprise the color of my hair is literally so dark close to being black (photo on the right) and she told me that the color of my hair was bright bleach and it will get brighter after a while, so she said don’t worry and just wait and that’s what I actually did, WAIT! But nothing happened, worse is some of my highlights started showing up again. Omg it was a mess. I just spent $300 for nothing including $50 tip. Yes I still tip her that much for such a lousy job. So disappointed and the last time i asked her if my hair will turn to that color eventually and she said “it doesn’t just a little brighter” she could have been honest the first time that she can’t do that hair color instead of asking me to wait for nothing. I actually had a high expectations because she got 5 star reviews, and the haircut i like was korean inspired haircut so i looked for korean hairstylist but I was just really disappointed for wasting $300. And i was still debating if I should write a review but she never responded to me anymore nor offer a solution of redoing it. It really bothers me...

If you have thick hair please please please DO NOT allow her to thin your hair.

As someone with long thick hair almost every hair stylist says they will give me some layers bc my hair is so thick. Okay, that's fine for SOME LAYERS even though I came in asking for a trim.

She DID NOT give me layers. She straight up just thinned my hair with the thinning scissors even starting up to a few inches from my roots???

I didnt realize until after when I was touching my hair that she had thinned out HALF of my hair. It's so thin now and there are so many short hairs like a few inches long near my scalp and it's making it itchy to lay down. I feel like I'm balding or something.

I've never been so disappointed in a hair cut and I'm not even that picky about the length. However, this will take over a year to even out. Please take my advice so youre not...

I called and asked ahead of time if they cut bangs which they had said yes. I showed up to my appointment and showed multiple images inspiration and explained to her I already had bangs, just to clean them up. I had curtain side bangs. It was one of the worst haircuts I have ever had in my life. I had to go to another salon afterwards in North Park to get some sort of saving to my hair, they did the best they could but even they couldn't fix what horrible job this place did. Even the other salon was baffled at such job. If they didn't know how to to bangs, they could've said simply no. I'll put down below the before , inspiration pictures, and the after.
