Jin Beauty Salon — Local services in San Diego

I was just informed today by another salon that this salon scammed me. I asked to recieve japanese hair straightening on mildy wavy hair (no where near curly or unmanageable) and my hair didnt straighten even after recieving the treatment two seperate times and following the aftercare instructions perfectly. The only difference it made was that it was less frizzy and more soft, but didn't straighten it. I wasn't mad because I thought maybe it's just my hairs fault not the hair dressers fault.

Went to a different hair salon to try and get a proper japanese hair straightening perm and explained what happened here and they confirmed that what this salon did was a Keratin treatment not a japeneas perm. A real japanese perm takes 5-7 hours and this service only took less than 2 hours. Meaning I was lied to and scammed. This is unacceptable.

If my hair was unhealthy to recieve the perm, I should have been told that from the beginning and be informed that a different service was being performed. Jin 's Hair salon was wonderful. I have been there 3 times to get my hair straightened with the Japanese process and have been VERY satisfied with the results. The salon may not have fancy bells and whistles, but Jin's experience makes it a very streamline process. My hair is VERY curly and thick, afterwards slick, shiny and wonderful. With a little flat ironing at the roots it lasts a year!!!
