I would leave 0 stars if I could. We have a payment issue with a card that used to work for in-app purchases but kept declining. Of course, we called the bank and they said it was a Google Play problem. After the last update, google started processing the card as an in-person credit. It needs to be processed as an online debit. I reached out to Google through chat. She said I had to contact our bank. I told her we already had, and what they said. She again said I had to contact our bank. I disconnected from the chat and sent an email. I got the same answer; they referred me to another agent when I complained about the run-around. This happened several times, always with the same result. The agent said every time that we needed to contact our bank. Now, mind you, I started every interaction by saying, "We already contacted our bank, and this is what they said." Finally, I asked for a supervisor. I stated that I was finished with the entire thing and we would not be paying for anything from Google again. The supervisor reached out to me and apologized for the run-around, but, yet again, she said to contact our bank. Every single transaction I've had with Google customer service has been incredibly frustrating and ridiculously stressful. Is it so hard to read a chat or email? I used to be a phone supervisor as well as handling reviews online for a large organization. This kind of service would have gotten us fired. Absolutely, stupendously AWFUL customer service. Google, can't you do better than this? I am beyond ticked off right now that your company can't handle a simple problem, or even acknowledge that you were given the reason for the decline. We can’t contact you or easily control the images that people post.
Having recently been informed by you that you couldn’t remove a photograph, even though it violates more than one of your own violations ! Because it was attached to a review, you finally removed it. No explanation no apology no update on this , we found out by literally seeing it had gone.
It might have been that the reviewer removed it , but we doubt that without your intervention.
It’s not on and you use your weight and power to make really important decisions for our businesses.
Decisions that are causing serious damage and offensive , off topic and downright rude. You take ages to remove or respond and this isn’t good enough. Because the damage is already done ✔️
We have had reviews calling our staff stupid, blatant lies and false information along with defamatory claims. No evidence is required for them to post these vile comments and we are told to respond respectfully and apologise.

Read more2024-08-03: I have never been to this office. I enjoy reading people's reviews, and I have 5241 contributions, made 491 reviews, and added 4145 photos. I have over 5.5 million views. My reviews are no longer showing up for others to view. I have messaged the help center numerous times about the problem. The ONLY response I got back was telling me that my contributions have a lot of views. I already knew that! No help with my issue! I have tried to log out and log back in. I have tried to upgrade. I can view my posts on my computer. I can see my posts on my phone, though most photos are now showing "upload pending". I am really disappointed with Google Maps...
