I really love this Aldi!
It's spacious, open, huge, well lit, clean and they have amazing prices for very good quality products.
They carry a good variety of cheeses and in my opinion they're all good. Their house brand especially is really good and my kids love the colby jack cubes while I love their Gouda and cheddar varieties.
I also like some of the elevation protein bars they carry. My favorite of those is the wafer version. Their chips and snacks are all very decent in price, the taste is on par if not better than most of the brand names out there like ruffles, and lays. My son won't eat any other brand of sour cream and onion chips except theirs.
One of my favorite items here is their Simms turkey snack sticks, which also come in beef, but my favorite is the turkey. Their beef jerky is also pretty awesome, especially the Simms brand again.
Their produce section isn't huge but what they do carry is honestly really good price wise. Quality isn't bad either.
They also carry a lot of Keto and low carb friendly products which is a bonus if you're trying to eat clean.
The employees that work here are also very friendly and few. Most of the time you won't find more than 3 employees at a time. 2 are usually stocking the shelves while a third mans the register.
All in all I love shopping here and after my go to store was Walmart, I find myself shopping there less and less and coming here nearly every week. Not only because their prices are much cheaper, but also because a lot of their house brand items are made with better ingredients than say Walmart's house brand "great value."
I'm so glad they opened a location here and I'm glad that I don't have to drive all the way to Escondido to get to the...
Read moreI am a senion recovering from a stroke. I cannot sit at a computer researching the web for information.
I buy a lot from Aldi, using instacart. Now I want to ask a question from a live person. But, in the spirit of ACTUAL customer service, there is no way to call anyone in the company.
The excuse givin by a recording is to have no telephone numbers saves them money so they can pass the savings to to the customer. Then they refer you to the website for information.
As a disabled senior, this is a slap in my face. With all th orders I have made with Aldi, I would EXPECT much better customer service,
I came from using Srouts. But I was told by the district manager at Sprouts that when I buy grass fed hamberger, it actually is grass FINISHED , not grass fed through its life. Which is a deal breaker.
Since Aldi does not seem to cars about seniors that have a hart time having to read information online,
I have been using Aldi for about three months. But if I cannot know if this is grass fed or just grass finished, I will have to go back to Sprouts. For my health.
No wonder frass fed beef is so heap, it is a lie that it is grass fed, rather than what it actually grass finished. A trick, since the packaging never says it is only grass finished,
Good bye Aldi. You intentionally cheated me by misrepresenting the items. What else do...
Read moreWas trying to buy some crofton containers, there was a set of 3. 1 large blue container, 1 3/4 pink and 1/4 yellow container, and 2 1/2 green containers. There was only one green container left, looked like someone opened the packaging and took 1 of them. We grabbed it anyway because we wanted the whole set and were hoping maybe we could get it half off since half of it was missing.
When we talked to the associate she couldn't understand that someone opened the package and took one out, so she went and got her manager. The manager talked to my wife and I in a condescending tone, and told us no, there wasn't a piece missing, she is the manager and this only comes as one piece. She just bought the whole set herself and the green containers only come with one. You could clearly tell due to the amount of plastic still hanging off of the container that there was meant to be another one there stacked on top. No longer interested in arguing about it, we dropped the convo and just decided not to purchase.
Well I found the item online, and yes it is meant to come as two. I don't appreciate when managers straight up lie to us about little things and talk down to us when we are simply just asking questions. It was $5, why treat us rudely and lie to us over that? Weird interaction at this location, my wife and I will take our...
