Donut Touch — Restaurant in San Diego

I’ll definitely be back! I stopped in here for the first time today to order a dozen donuts (to thank a pet cemetery for their care of my departed hamster) and got one donut for myself. I choose this place because it was on the way and the reviews were great. While driving to the pet cemetery, I got to eat my donut and it was one of the best chocolate bar donuts I’ve ever had! Never had such a fluffy donut, it was very fresh! The outside was that nice light crispy texture and inside was so soft and fluffy. I legit thought “this is so great I’d even eat it without the chocolate”! I got there around 8:15am, the place smelt like fresh donuts and they had a great selection. Anyway, I gobbled up my donut and was so happy to give these to the pet cemetery staff. I’m going to get some for my coworkers next time! ❤️

I think if there was any feedback to share, I’d love to see a logo / sticker / contact info on their donut boxes so everyone can know where these delicious donuts came from....

Visiting from out of town and was hungry for breakfast I could bring back to the hotel (no thank you $6 lobby muffin). I stumbled into this unassuming location and walked out blown away by the quality of the food and the service I received. The young lady who helped me (red streak in her hair) was so kind and made some suggestions to customize my Italian sub (honestly not the item I would have guessed I would choose early in the morning from a Donut/Bagel shop). She made the sub with care and attention and I could really taste it. One of my favorite subs of all time! This may sound unbelievable, but the best sandwich I've found in California has been here. I'm from Philadelphia where Italian sandwiches (hoagies) dominate the lunch world. Since moving out west I've been missing the classic crunchy outside, soft inside, cohesive and hard baked Italian bread. Donut Touch MAKES it!
