Pacifica Residential does not care about their residents. Disregard for Residents: Parent Company Neglect at Willow Brooke
As a resident of Willow Brooke, it pains me to highlight the pervasive neglect exhibited by the parent company overseeing the property. Despite numerous attempts through emails and phone calls to address concerns, it is evident that the parent company fails to prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of its residents or monitor the management practices of its leasing offices. Maintenance issues persist due to delayed responses and inadequate resolutions, leading to recurring problems with faulty equipment, AC malfunctions, and unsanitary sewer draining issues. These issues, compounded by the parent company's lack of responsiveness, underscore a systemic disregard for resident welfare. The indifference displayed by the parent company towards the management of its properties is concerning and unacceptable. Despite being made aware of ongoing issues, there has been no discernible effort to improve the situation or ensure that the leasing office operates in the best interest of its residents. While Mr. Robert, the maintenance manager, deserves commendation for his efforts, his dedication is overshadowed by the overarching neglect from the parent company. My parent lives in a Pacifica Senior Living Facility and we've been trying for a month to speak to the local administration about her rent, but either get no response to voice messages or if someone answers, they never follow-up with what they claim they will do and 1 week later, I'm informed that that person no longer works there. Trying to call the corporate office is impossible. On the website, the "Contact Us" link goes no where except to make a referral, leave a testimonial, or look for a job. Trying to call the main # is also useless since no one answers, and you just get a list of names and extensions with no idea who works in what department. I left a message on a random person's VM and of course no one ever called me back. The facility has gone way downhill in the past 5 years and there's been safety issues, like a dead smoke alarm battery that doesn't get changes for months even though it's brought to staff attention multiple times. There used to be security at the front gates but that was abandoned during COVID and now the guard house...
Read morePacifica is notorious for having piss-poor management, arbitrary amendments to contracts, poor maintenance and horrible customer/ tenant service. BEWARE that there are many potential loopholes and problems with the various properties this company "manages". Currently, there is a serious problem with predatory towing and changes to parking lot policies.
Update: The company has stated that they will not be addressing my review "...that was written to put the company in an unfavorable light." I wrote an honest review of the experience of being an extremely patient but fed up RESIDENT of one of their properties for YEARS. On site management was extremely difficult to get a hold of for many years, corporate was even harder to find for a while, substitute staff were incredibly hostile to MANY tenants, FREQUENT maintenance issues that never seem to get resolved, and low effort notification processes to policy changes are just SOME of the issues at hand. Future tenants/ residents BEWARE. This company wants a "favorable light" review?...
