My daughter was referred to here to check her eye. The ophthalmologist was nice and good. She gave us the prescription for her eyeglasses and told me it is up to me to make the eyeglasses the shop in the clinic or anywhere else. I should listen her word more carefully....
I took my daughter in the shop which located same area with the ophthalmology and share the waiting room. I thought it would be better she can try on and fit to her face, instead of order online. I was WRONG! The shop staff was nice, and advised me to contact with my insurance company if they cover for her glasses, then call her back if I would like to order. So, that's what I did. I called her back on the same day, left message. Their answer machine says "call back might take up to 48 hours." so I waited. She called me back on 5th day, and her excuse was the memo said "Needs to call back by Spanish speaker." Well, I don't speak Spanish, so I have no clue... She told me that it takes 2 weeks to make and she will call me when it's ready to pick up. Waited 2 weeks, but no phone call, so I called her if it's ready. Left message twice and called me back a week after that... Took a month to get her eyeglasses done.
AND, three month later, the eyeglasses arm came off. Because of COVID, they don't accept any walk ins, I have to make appointment for the repair. I called 11 days ago, and keep call/leaving messages, yet nobody called me back yet. I was afraid if this would happened, so I ordered another glasses from online shop, yet, I paid for 2 years unlimited warranty, I would like to have repair what...
Read moreDo not go to this optometrist if your kid is autistic! They have 0 patience and seem to hate kids. They forced my son to get his eyes dilated, which he had never done before. She made us hold him down while she did it, then got annoyed that it made him upset the rest of the appt. She seemed to be more concerned with the equipment in the office than her patient. She then decided she couldn't finish the exam and tried to tell us my son needed to be put under anesthesia for all future appts. She didn't even give us a new prescription for his glasses! I found an optometrist closer to us that handles his exams just fine, and helped him get over his fear of the optometrist, which she caused. (He never had a problem with them before.) I can't remember her name, but she doesn't need to work with special needs children... or children in general. Usually everyone at Rady's is so great, so I was shocked at...
Read moreI don't recommend it to anyone. It's the worst optician shop in California ever. In every way they're bad. Bad face-to-face service, bad phone service (they never answer the phone, you can try it yourself and they still tell you to leave a message and they call you back, but I called for 5 consecutive days and they never return the call). It seems that there is a shortage of people to work with and the environment is very small and cramped. It is expensive and the service is of poor quality. They don't help you at all and they never answer at the scheduled time, so you always have to pay $4 for parking over 30 minutes. It's a pity. I don't recommend it to anyone. It's California's worst...
