Your staff is very discriminatory, I am Hispanic and I arrived asking for help to find the part I needed a little faster, they made me take a number so that someone would call me and they did not, after about 10 minutes of seeing that a couple of The women employees were not doing anything, I approached to see if they would help me, and one asked what I needed, and when I told her what I needed, she immediately told me that I needed to know the specific brand, and well, I told her that it didn't really matter what if she could help me. show what they had and well, I would take what was closest to what I needed and she told me no, until I knew exactly what brand I was looking for, which is somewhat difficult since the repair is being done to a house with things that are a bit old and No one has information on the brands that were used. The point is that she did not want to help me and as soon as she saw that a couple of Anglo-Saxon women entered the store, she told me when you know the brands, come back, she turned around and went to help the women with a big smile and very friendly, which she did not do with me. I am not saying that the store is bad, but the employees need a little more tact...
Read moreI’ve never designed a kitchen, nor realized that handle pulls can be the difference between awesome and so bad your friends stop showing up to dinner parties. I was recommended this place by a friend and thank god they did, have you seen the quality/selection of pulls at Home Depot?! More like Moan Depot! Because of how loud I moaned trying to find anything fun and of quality. Anyway, I walked in like Rick Grimes leaving the hospital in the walking dead, a whole new scary world I could have never imagined existed in front of me, but the staff treated me like family and guided me through it all. I don’t believe there is a single handle pull in existence they do not have available for you to actually see in person, touch and get a better sense of how it will look, way better than lame online pictures. The staff was amazing, the layout was amazing, and despite my best efforts I took the advice of one of the wonderful associates and got the sickest handles for my kitchen. P.S. Cocoa, morty submitted his application for good boy greeter and hasn’t heard back, he’s sorry he ate part of your bagel and promises it will never happen again (j.k. he’s...
Read moreI needed to repair the door handle on an 18 year old door. The door company does not sell hardware for the door unless a new door is being purchased. Attempts to contact the company were not answered for three days. I called SD hardware and one of their associates, Joey, spent quite a bit of time over two days trying to assist me. At his desk, we looked up the manufacturer; the door company and it's hardware was difficult to locate on line, and again, it was not for sale separately. Joey was patient with my ignorance of hardware and instructed me on the best way to possibly resolve the problem. When I finally took the door apart completely and found the broken latch, another associate at SD hardware gave me a part that was incredibly similar to my broken one. The key word here is gave. It was not a part that they sold, so she "gave it to me." The door is fully functional again. Unbelievable support provided by SD Hardware. They were very happy to help me even though it was apparent that I was probably not going be spending a lot of money on hardware. I'm not accustomed to that...
