SENDIT - Efoil Lessons & Sales — Local services in San Diego

I recently spent some time in San Diego visiting family and decided to look into renting an Efoil. I did a quick google search and discovered SENDIT. I called and spoke with Kyle who was very friendly and able to get me and my cousin booked for the next day. The booking process was very easy with everything done right on the website. I was immediately provided with all the information for our reservation including location and what to expect. Kyle met us at our scheduled time at the location and had all of our equipment ready to go right on the beach. He gave us a safety briefing, explained everything about the equipment and then we jumped in the water. Since I had previous experience he let me go and offered some helpful tips and spent time with us in the water. So, I gotta admit, I'd never even thought about trying efoiling until I saw people doing on the bay last month. Problem was, I've got this totally irrational fear of sharks, and my balance? Well, let's just say it's not Olympic-level.

Anyhow, I decided to chuck my worries and booked a beginner lesson. And you know what? It was freakin' awesome! To be honest I was a nervous nelly a few hours before but upon arriving, the fear subsided. .

The instructors were super cool—welcoming and patient as hell. They walk you through it step by step. You start off lying on your stomach, then move up to your knees, and finally, once your confidence is up, you give standing a shot.

Now, I'm not exactly a balancing champ (ask anyone who's seen me on a snowboard), but believe it or not, I managed to ride it in circles around the way. And when you get going and you're skimming over the water, its euphoric.
