Stehly Farms is a perfect market for this small neighborhood. They tend to stock healthy foods and carry labels that cannot be found anywhere else, even in smaller markets of their approximate size. They choose vendors who care not only about health but also about making products responsibly in order to help combat global warming. Today they had a shitake mushroom meatball sampling that was very good and the plant-based balls were offered at a reduced price. I ended up buying a package, as the product was so tasty and the price was reduced for the sampling. I think meat eaters would find that product to be indiscernible from meat. For meat eaters, they offer excellent steaks and poultry options. Their fresh produce selection is good with an eye to organic produce. They cook meals from breakfast to dinner. They have a sidewalk dining experience that means you can eat there if you are on the run. I've enjoyed fish tacos for lunch and egg dishes for breakfast that are served to dine in or take home. They always have a meal special that often is on the sidewalk menu board and easy to read. For vegetarians and vegans they offer many products, understanding readily that people have food needs that are minimized in large-scale, chain grocery stores. Best of all are the price reduction on products all across the store, which differ from week to week. Whether it is a 2 for 1 offer or simple price reductions, store-wide, they mix it up and I always find something I can use at a reduced price. I think this family is to be commended for offering customers what they need for their optimal health and for supporting businesses that produce such products. The staff work for long hours to help serve their clientele. They are the blueprint of a family store gone GREAT! I highly recommend them to all comers. You will be delighted by what you find there. They are a welcoming place that is happy to hear any input you may have about future products. They care about customer satisfaction...

Read moreNice grocery store however their customer service is seriously lacking. Called today when there was a mixup with a hot bar order. I spoke to the young woman before ordering to confirm what was in the turnover i said this is just chicken apple sausage and gouda as labeled she agreed. The label on the hotbar did not mention it had Swiss chard in it which was also included and was all I could taste. I called to see what could be done was met with a very rude young woman manager who said it was "written everywhere", it was not. All I wanted to do was exchange it for something else I was not upset just wanted to see what I could do.
The way they treated me on the phone was so unprofessional I will never spend a dime here again. I wish I got her name so I could include it here. The cashier was named Jose (I believe) he was very nice. I don't recommend supporting a business who is rude to their paying customers for no reason. It was a $9 turnover I also purchased 2 juices so not sure why it was so difficult for them to treat me with respect and kindness but they were so rude if I was the owner of this establishment I would seriously think about training their staff or letting go of...
