Burger Lounge — Restaurant in San Diego

Probably one of my new favorite Burger Places.

Firstly, the most important: the burgers are delicious. You can really taste the difference in quality in the patties that these guys use. In addition, what can really enhance or break a burger is the bun and condiments, and they are the "cherry on top" of this exquisite burger. The lettuce used is fresh and has a satisfying crunch and the bun is soft on the inside while being just sturdy enough in the crust to support the burger without falling apart.

The second most important is the sides. The fries are great! Love the seasoning and it isn't too greasy. The onion rings steal the show however; they are light and crispy without having too much batter, and the flavor of the breading really enhances the rings. Excellent sides.

In addition, I've had the (seasonal) strawberry shake and the float. The float is great, just what you'd expect: delicious and satisfying. The shake is excellent though - you can really taste that the strawberries are real and fresh while still being thick and creamy and delicious.

Overall for the chain: this place is a 10/10.

The last important thing for this review is the service, which is location dependant. I'm happy to say that I had great service at this location. Servers were friendly, prompt service and went above and beyond expectations. While I was waiting for all my stuff to-go I was sipping on my float and had it half-empty. The server noticed this as I was getting up to leave with my food and offered to top it off with rootbeer. Totally unasked for but wholly welcome and a happy surprise. I wouldn't go here expecting to be able to get all my drinks topped off, but it honestly left a lasting impression on me.

One thing is certain, I will be back hungry...

STOP THE PRESSES! I'VE FOUND THE BEST BURGER ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET! I did my research, I wanted a burger restaurant that serves quality food, not greasy food, and for a fair price. I ordered delivery from the restaurant itself. Not only was it delivered early, it was still warm and smelled AMAAAAAZING! I ordered the double Lounge Burger, with avocado and vegan cheese, and half 'n half fries and onion rings. OH... MY... GOD! I grabbed an onion ring first. It was perfectly cooked. I could tell from the color and texture, and thank God, these people know how to cook it without it dripping in grease. It was perfect! Next, I grabbed a French fry. Again, perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft (and cooked!) on the inside. Not too much salt. I did specify "no extra salt." Plenty of ketchup packets and napkins, thanks! Then, ta-dahhhh, the burger. I couldn't get my mouth to open wide enough to get it top to bottom, so I had to nibble my way down. It was freaking AWESOMMMME! I did not stop to take a picture of it because I couldn't stop eating it! I have been to heaven and back for dinner tonight. Note to all who read this? You need to come here and eat, get yourself a decent burger! Bring...

Seriously keep this awesome beer deal going. Six dollars for a 22 oz IPA is totally awesome! Not a fan of big chains, but if you're just giving away great deals like this in neighborhoods that I than I'm all in. I was just waiting for the bus and now I'm nice n' sauce up on the cheap! And it was some good IPA! Dude was like "we only have this beer for the deal. Is this fine?" And I was like "dude, it's five bucks, I'll take Keystone or Steal Reserve at that price" and it was some really good local IPA. Shoulda probably checked what the beer was, but who cares at that price! And then dude goes, "one dollar more and you'll go from some respectable quantity (can't remember lol) to 22 OZ. I was like "hell yeah, dude" and now I'm kinda drunk on the bus heading to Lestats to do some homework and I might be too drunk for that. So yeah, come grab that deal before the mobs show up. IDK why I'm even leaving this review knowing that my access the cheap drunkie times gonna be limited when supply and demand kicks back in, but what ever....
