Jaime was/is fabulous!!! We are SO thankful to Stylish Weddings and Events for helping our dream wedding happen!

Adam and I met Jaime at a bridal conference and we told him of our vision, and we immediately hit it off with him. Jaime was so accommodating of our schedules, and would often drive to us for meet ups and discussions, and he allowed us to have calls in the evenings after we got off work. He was flexible and very thoughtful of our needs.

We purchased the full service planning package, and Jaime was with me through all the challenges of trying to plan a wedding during covid. He would give me vendor recommendations, and when anyone would back out (due to unforeseen issues with covid and family, etc...), he would do everything to get me replacement vendors and get my deposits back. He was ON it and always had my back!!! I certainly felt like Jaime cared about us. He was super responsive to every email/text/question I sent his way, and he would often send us little reminders of things to consider/complete. It was very appreciated.

On top of all that.... JAIME SAVED THE WEDDING A BILLION TIMES OVER!!! The manzanita tree renter we were going to use ended up closing their business due to covid, so we had to find a new supplier and actually BUY the trees. We didn't know what to do with the trees after the wedding ended and we had to get them out of the venue by 1am. Jaime asked his florist supplier, and she agreed to take them, and have them out by 1am! He totally saved us from having to figure out what to do with them! We found a manzanita tree supplier who we purchased 18 - 3 foot trees from. They delivered the trees the day before, but they were the wrong height! They were 1 to 1.5 feet! Which is NOT what we paid extra for! And not the statement centerpieces we expected. I immediately started panicking! My fiancé just left because he hates confrontation and didn't know what to do, and I literally just felt trapped, alone, and confused in how to address the situation. Except that I was not alone. Jaime came to my rescue! He totally backed me up and wanted the supplier to provide answers as to why the trees were not what was agreed on in our contract. In the end, she just left saying she could not fix them and we could discuss with her later about a partial refund. But Jaime did not leave me with those small pathetic trees. He instantly jumped on his phone and contacted local suppliers. He then pulled an all-nighter to spray paint new trees he procured, and built them into the center piece boxes. And he did it all at his house! On top of Jaime working on the trees ALL night, he was calm, cool, and collected the next day and did everything to make our wedding beautiful! He was a calming presence and never seemed to appear stressed or bothered with all the questions thrown at him. He was amazing!! Jaime is also an interior visionary, and when my grandmother asked for a gift she made us to be presented at the wedding, he did a beautiful job of tying it into our decor! He also had to re-situate the layout to accommodate our photo booth vendor, and he did a fantastic job of the overall setup!

Jaime and his team were absolutely brilliant! I am beyond blessed/grateful for all their hard work and love that they gave our event. So many issues came up that were out of our control (and nothing that Jaime or his team did) but his team ALWAYS jumped on getting them resolved/fixed! I had no idea until after the wedding of any issues! That's how amazing they were!! ALSO.... Jaime took pictures of so many parts of the set up that I did not get to see, and sent them to me so I could have them and see everything pristine before the guests arrived. I thought it was a very thoughtful gesture!

ALSO... almost forgot to mention! Jaime helped with ALL the rentals! Linens, dance floor, chairs, and napkins, etc!!! Seriously, made that part so easy!!!

Where do we begin!? Our wedding was so incredible half the guests came up to us and told us throughout the night that this was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. -This is because we were lucky enough to meet and hire Jaime Soto who made our wedding night everything we could have wished for. Jaime isn’t just a wedding planner, he is also an amazing wedding designer and coordinator.

We met Jaime at a wedding show and liked him right away. We were looking for someone who could be hands on with us as we both had significant work commitments going on during the typical planning process. Despite this challenge, we still wanted to have a wedding that we and our beloved family and friends would remember.

We had our wedding at the Prado at balboa park. We had an insane number of vendors that Jaime coordinated with on our behalf. He was available to meet with us and each of the vendors anytime we needed him. We utilized a lot of outside vendors so having someone who had so many established vendor relationships of varied styles and pricing was extremely helpful in the overall production of the wedding.

We were blown away with Jaime’s overall level of attentiveness and tenacity. You can throw basically anything at him and he can handle it. Even more, he is so kind and upbeat even when we’re under the gun and the pressure is on. We found that the investment in a full package wedding planner, specially Jaime, was the smartest decision we made. It can be a little nerve wrecking trying to find a great wedding planner so I’m writing this to help all those brides to be who might be looking for a phenomenal wedding planner. Jaime has the best personality, and takes so much of the stress away. Most importantly, you will enjoy working with Jaime because he always keeps things upbeat and when your special day finally arrives, you will have him there every step of the way making sure your wedding day is just perfect!

My wife and I just got married this New Years Eve in San Diego and had the wonderful opportunity to work with Jaime. I say “opportunity" specifically because that is what it felt like at times to us. Initially, we hired a wedding planner (not Jaime) a year out from our NYE wedding, someone who was referred to us and checked off all the requirements for what we thought would be a great decision, or so we thought….. Turns out this planner did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in regard to planning our wedding for 9 months. To put it lightly, my wife was the wedding planner, not our actual wedding planner. We finally decided enough was enough and fired her. Shortly after this, we found Jaime. In 2 weeks, Jaime did more for us and for getting the wedding/planning back on track than our previous planner had done in 9 months! I'm not sure if that’s more amazing on Jaime’s part, or how awful our previous planner was. Either way, Jaime took charge from Day 1 with us and kept the momentum going all the way through to the very next day.

Always with the utmost respect and resourcefulness, Jaime was an absolute pleasure to work with for the entire wedding process. Around 90% of our guests were coming from out of town to make this a vacation and destination wedding, so we had a handful of events going on prior to several days out from the big day. I really cannot even imagine how it all would have been completed, if it had not been for Jaime’s guidance and constant communication and helpful timelines throughout the entire process.

Our biggest regret is that we didn’t find Jaime sooner, which would have ultimately avoided months of stress and aggravation. Nonetheless, we could not be happier with Jaime and all of the dedication he put into making this wedding weekend/day one of the happiest moments...
