I arrived at DOT on Friday December 15th shortly before 9pm. As I walked in I felt this very uncomfortable presence approach me from the right as if I was about to be tackled. It was a heavy set possibly Hispanic male with a beard apparently acting in the role of security. Without any type of proper greeting he asked to see ID. I produced it and thought that would be my only time dealing with that rude behavior. At different times two of your very cordial servers approached me about drinks and they respected my decision to get a drink later in the evening. After the 2nd server approached me your security told me I had to buy a drink or I couldn't sing. By this time I already put in a song to sing but I felt so disrespected I ordered my Uber. I told the KJ what security said and HE encouraged me to sing my song before I left but my Uber was about to arrive. So if the KJ was willing to let me sing why was I told by security that I couldn't? I won't be...
Read moreOMG! I LOVE THIS BAR! Me and my homie came thru and we had a blast! They got karaoke, beautiful women, great variety of beer and liquor. The security checked for our IDs and honestly, from that point, i felt safe that they actually DID THEIR JOB. Unlike many other bars we hit up, they just did a quick flip and passed us through. Like, it felt like those bars didn't care. This place, i feel safe to know that the security really DO THEIR JOBS! We've been to too many bars that bring in too many douchebags who start fights, but even the security team doesn't do anything about it. I can't complain about this bar. They have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Even got Mexican food being cooked out front on Tuesday, Friday,...
Read moreWow. The area is already bad. From out of town visiting and as soon as I get out my Uber, I’m approached by a overweight Hispanic man who tells me to leave the property. I asked him the reason, since didn’t ask me for my ID or anything along the lines of thinking I was trying to enter a bar without ID. He told me “my kind wasn’t welcome” and asked me to leave again. My brother is in the military and is stationed across the street from the bar. He was inside, and we all had to leave because of the uncomfortability that was caused. I am a Hispanic/black woman who was accompanied by a light skin black woman and we felt extremely discriminated against in a predominantly...
