First time getting my nails done since January of 2020, and I was very pleased with the experience. The ladies inside were friendly and professional, and they had very clear yet non invasive safety precautions in place. This all made me very comfortable after over a year of salons being closed and marked as dangerous places. They do make you sign a waiver when you enter, but it was easy and straightforward. Everyone was wearing masks, some doubled up. They put clear plastic barriers between the pedicurist and client, so you can still see each other and interact. And they did a great job on my nails! I felt super pampered, and walked out of there happy and with beautiful nails! While they didn’t have two of the gel colors that I chose from their samples, I love the color I ended up with. I had an amazing experience at Mac’s. My boyfriend and I called ahead at 6:15pm and asked if we could be taken before they close at 7:30pm. Not only did they say yes, they were READY for us when we arrived. We were offered green tea, water, juice, etc. and made my boyfriend comfortable (his first time getting a pedicure). The kind women who did our pedicures were amazing, they paid attention to detail and were VERY nice. They prefer cash for gratuity and conveniently have an ATM inside the shop. I will literally never go anywhere else, the service and kindness is top-tier and I always leave happy! Unfortunately I can’t recommend Mac salon. I will say the team were all so kind and friendly, as well as accommodating to get me in same day for acrylic removal, gel dip and a gel pedicure. Four days after my appointment two of my dipped nails have already lifted and I’ll need the manicure redone as it’s clear the rest are likely to lift too. And I’ve already got chips on my toenails.

I’ve had gel pedicures last up to 6 weeks with no chips so 4 days later is really disappointing. Considering the quality of the manicure I don’t even want to go back to ask them to fix it as I don’t trust the second set will be any better.

It’s a shame because they were so kind I would have loved to become a regular customer. Maybe they are great for standard mani pedis but I would avoid...
